아동의 창의성과 어머니의 양육 태도와의 관계

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 아동의 창의성과 어머니의 양육태도와의 관계를 알아보고자 하는데 있다. 연구의 구체적인 내용은 다음과 같다. 1. 창의성 상·하집단과 어머니의 양육태도와의 관계 2. 성별에 따른 아동의 창의성과 어머니의 양육태도와의 관계 연구대상으로는 서울시내 N국민학교 6학년 아동 179명(남·97명, 여·82)과 그들의 어머니 179명이다. 아동의 창의성 측정을 위해서 이 영덕, 정 원식이 공동제작한 표준화 간편 창의성 검사를 실시하였고, 어머니의 양육태도 측정을 위해서 Schaefer의 MBRI 중 36개 문항을 선택하여 작성한 질문지를 사용하였다. 결과분석은 두 검사간의 관계를 알아보기 위하여 Pearson 상관계수를 산출하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 아동의 창의성과 어머니의 양육태도는 전체적으로 의미있는 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 창의성이 높은 아동이나 창의성이 낮은 아동 모두 어머니의 양육태도와 의미있는 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났으나, 창의성이 낮은 집단에서 창의성이 높은 집단보다 어머니의 양육태도와 더 높은 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 남자 아동이나 여자 아동 모두 어머니의 양육태도와 의미있는 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났으나, 남자 아동이 여자 아동보다 어머니의 양육태도와 더 높은 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 아동의 창의성과 어머니의 양육태도는 긍정적인 관계가 있으며, 어머니의 양육태도가 바람직할수록 아동의 창의성은 높다는 것을 말해준다.;The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between children's creativity and the mother's rearing attitude. Concrete conents of the study are as follows. 1) relations between upper and lower groups of children in the degrees of their creativity and the mother's rearing attitude. 2) relations between the child's creativity according to sexual distinction and the mother's rearing attitude. 97 male and 82 female children at the 6th grade of N elementary school in Seoul and their 179 mothers participated in the study as the requied subjects. To measure children's creativity, the 'standard compact test of creativity', collaborately made by youngdeuk Lee and Wonshik Jung, was implemented: and, in order to measure the mother's rearing attitude, such questionnaire that selected 36 questions among Schaefer's MBRI was employed. And, an analysis of the outcomes from the test was conducted by means of Pearson's correlative coefficient. The results from the study are as follows : First, the children's creativity and the mother's rearing attitude appeared having a significant relation generally. Second, the children in both high and low degrees of creativity appeared having significant relations with the mother's rearing attitude; but the group of lower creativity was shown having higher relationship with the mother's rearing attitude than that of higher creativity. Third, both male and female children appeared having a significant correlation with the mother's rearing attitude, but male children were shown having higher relation with the mother's rearing attitude than female children. These results show that there are positive relations between the child's creativity and the mother's rearing attitude, and that the more desirable the mother's rearing attitude, the higher the child's creativity gets.
