학교수학의 성취능력이 생활수학의 성취능력에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

Abstract

중등학교를 졸업한 학생들이 사회에 진출했을 때 학교에서 배운 수학내용을 활용하지 못한다면 학교수학은 그 역할을 다했다고 볼 수 없다. 이런 관점에서 다음과 같은 두 가지 연구문제를 설정하여 학교수학의 성취능력과 생활수학의 성취능력과의 관계를 규명해보고자 한다. 1. 학교수학과 생활수학의 성취도 사이에는 상관관계가 있는가? 2. 학교수학의 성취도별로 구분한 각 집단 사이에는 생활수학의 성취도에 차이가 있는가? 위의 연구문제를 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 학교수학과 생활수학의 성취도는 정도는 크지 않지만 양의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 2. 일반적으로, 학교수학의 성취도가 높은 집단이 생활수학의 성취도도 높게 나타났다. 위의 결과에서 알 수 있듯이 학교수학에서 실생활과 관련된 문제를 많이 다루어 준다면 수학교육의 목표중 하나인 '실생활에 수학을 적용하는 능력'을 키워 줄 수 있을 것이다.;School mathematics shall not fully play a role if the students who have graduated from a secondary school do not have its application to their social life. From this point of view, setting the following two research problems we will examine a relative - relation between the ability of achivement in school mathematics and in life mathematics; 1. Is there a relative - relation between the achivement-degree in school mathematics and in life mathematics? 2. Is there a difference in the achivement-degree in life mathematics among the groups? The results analyzing the above reserch problems are the following; 1. Achivement-degrees in school mathematics and in life mathematics have a positive relative-relation. 2. Ingeneral, the group which have a high achivement-degree in school mathematics have a high achivement-degree in life mathematics. The above results suggest that the dealing with many problems connected with the life should develop the ability of application of mathematical education.
