창의적 음률활동이 유아의 음악성 발달과 사회·정서 행동에 미치는 영향

Abstract

본 연구는 창의적 음률활동이 유아의 음악성 발달과 사회·정서적 행동에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 서울시 마포구에 위치한 G유치원과 S유치원 만 5세 유아 총 105명을 연구대상으로 하였고 다음의 연구문제를 설정하였다. 1. 창의적 음률활동을 경험한 유아는 음악성 발달에 변화가 있는가? 2. 창의적 음률활동을 경험한 유아는 사회·정서적 행동에 변화가 있는가? 이러한 연구 문제를 검증하기 위해, 유아의 음감과 리듬감을 측정하기 위한 음악소질 측정도구인 PMMA(The Primary Measures of Music Audiation)를 노주희(미간행)가 번안, 제작한 것을 사용하였고, 문미옥(1988)과 지옥정(1996)의 유아의 사회 정서 발달의 측정도구를 수정 보완하여 사용하였다. 본 연구는 총 5개월에 걸쳐 유아에게 창의적 음률활동을 주 2회, 30분씩 반복적으로 이루어지도록 하였다. 또한, 교사들은 유아의 활동이나, 움직임 등에 고든의 학습이론에 근거한 창의적 음률활동을 이용하도록 하였다. 그리고 나서 실험집단과 통제 집단의 사전·사후 검사의 차이를 알아보고자 t검증을 하였다. 본 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 창의적 음률활동을 경험한 실험집단과 통제집단 유아들 사이에서는 음감과 리듬감에 유의한 차이(p<.001)를 보였다. 둘째, 창의적 음률활동이 유아의 사회·정서적 행동에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 실험집단과 통제집단 차이를 분석 한 결과 통계적으로 유의한 차이(p<.001)를 보이고 있었다. 특히, 유아의 성취동기와 유아의 호기심은 다른 영역에 비해 평균점수가 통제집단에 비해 실험집단이 8~10점 높게 나타나고 있음을 알 수 있었다.;The purpose of this study is to examine how the Creative Musical Activity based on Gordon's Theory effects on the development of musical sense and social-emotional behavior of young children. For the study, 105 children who were 5 years old were selected from G and S kindergarten located in Mapo Gu, Seoul. To achieve the purpose, following study items were set. 1. Were there any changes in their development of musical sense after experiencing the Creative Musical Activity? 2. Were there any changes in their social-emotional behavior after experiencing the Creative Musical Activity? To measure their tonal and rhythmical aptitude, the PMMA (the Primary Measures of Music Audition) was used which was adapted and manufactured by Juhee Ro. (not published yet) and, Miok Mun(1996) and Okjung Ji(1998)'s 'Young Children's Social-Emotional development measurement' was used. Children were given 30min. class, twice a week for five months. Then the teachers who were trained by experts applied the Creative Musical Activity to the class. T-test was used to analyze the significance of pre-post test score between the experimental group and the control group. The result are as follow; 1. There was the significant difference(p<.001) on the tonal and rhythmical aptitude between the experimental and the control group. 2. There was the significant statistical difference(p<.001) on social-emotional behavior between the experimental and the control group. Especially, experimental group showed 8-10 points higher in the part of motivation and curiosity than the other group.
