중, 고등학교 환경과목의 방사능 오염내용 비교, 분석

Abstract

Most people have a negative viewpoint toward radioactivity because of weapon, nuclear power plant that have arisen accidents, therefore, the purposes of study are to let them recognize understand radioactive contamination problem exactly and to mention parts that have been neglected or understood inexactly focusing on radioactive contamination -related contents written in textbooks of middle and high school. For this aim, this study compared and analyzed textbooks of middle and high school - middle school 'environment' textbook, high school 'ecology and environment' textbook - treating the contents of radioactive contamination. Results of the study on radioactive contamination in middle and high school textbooks told that the level of radioactive contamination-related contents suggested 'environment' textbooks of middle school was similar to the level of people's understanding generally as they think it in the negative direction. And the contents dealt with in high school's 'ecalogy and environment' textbooks incorrectly explained several concepts in the way of suggesting contents, moreover, their contents explaining global influences of radioactive contamination were insufficient in the sides of general imports and research-activities. In accordance, middle and high school environment subject's contents about radioactive contamination's influences need be supplemented, and wrong concepts suggested by high school's 'ecology and environment' should be corrected. This study results will consider the fact that study materials of radioactive contamination in middle school 'environment' textbook are insufficient, therefore, more various study materials should be developed in the direction of understanding radioactive contamination more easily at the level of middle school students. And when mentioning influences of radioactive contamination from the standpoint of atomic-energy educational programs, materials including its influences on mankind and the ecosystem as well as global effects should be developed.;본 연구의 목적은 환경 문제 중 방사능 오염에 대한 대부분의 인식이 전쟁무기, 원자력 발전소 사고 등과 같은 피해 경험으로 인해 부정적인 시각을 형성하고 있어 방사능 오염에 대한 정확한 이해가 필요함을 인지하고, 중·고등학교 환경과목에서 다루고 있는 방사능 오염 내용을 중심으로 보다 정확한 이해를 위해 간과되거나 부정확한 부분에 대해 언급하고자 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 중·고등학교 환경과목 - 중학교 '환경', 고등학교 '생태와 환경' -에서 다루고 있는 방사능 오염 내용을 비교·분석하였다. 중·고등학교 환경과목의 방사능 오염 내용에 대한 비교·분석결과 중학교 '환경' 교과서에 제시된 방사능 오염 내용은 일반적으로 방사능 오염을 부정적으로 인식하고 있는 수준과 별반 다르지 않았다. 그리고 고등학교 '생태와 환경' 교과서의 방사능 오염내용은 내용 제시 방식에서 몇 가지 학습 개념을 부정확하게 설명하였고, 전체적인 내용과 탐구활동 내용에서 방사능 오염에 대한 지구적인 영향을 설명하는 내용 등이 미흡하였다. 따라서 중·고등학교 환경과목에서 방사능 오염의 영향에 대한 내용의 보완과 함께 고등학교 '생태와 환경' 교과서에서 제시하고 있는 개념 설명 및 오류 부분에 대한 수정이 필요하다고 본다. 이 연구의 결과로 중학교 환경과목에서는 방사능 오염에 관한 학습 내용이 미흡하게 제시된 점을 고려하여 중학교 수준에서 방사능 오염을 보다 쉽게 이해 할 수 있는 다양한 학습 자료 개발이 필요할 것이다. 그리고 원자력 교육 프로그램의 내용 측면에서 방사능 오염의 영향을 언급할 때 인간과 생태계에 미치는 영향 및 지구적 영향에 관한 내용을 포함하는 자료가 개발되어야 할 것이다.
