중학교 수학과 교과서 연습문제 분석

Abstract

Today mathematics is being applied widely not only to itself but to other fields like science, engineering, economics, communication, etc., and is emphasized as a basic study. So there are much interests and many studies on the mathematics education. And these kinds of studies are reflected in the curriculum for mathematics department. The 6th curriculum which was revised under the influence of the problems of managing curriculum and current trends of other counties presents the objects and the contents of mathematics department concretely. And according to this curriculum, 8 kinds of mathematics textbooks were edited. But it's not easy to grasp at a time the contents, composition, charcteristics of those 8 textbooks and how difficult problems are. Therefore, in this study I intended to examine the compositions, and compare and analyze problems in priority of the 8 textbooks edited on the 6th curriculum. The purpose of this study is first to examine the whole composition of the textbooks and that of problems in those textbooks and then to compare and analyze the problems. Problems will be examined in 3 ways ; analyzing on the level of behaviors, the types of framing questions, and the rate of the average of correct answers. From above, I would try to check the way of giving problems, the levels, types, and the difficulties of them, and to present a course for improvement. And I hope this study can help teachers when they choose textbooks to teach students at school, and can serve as a good reference for modifying and supplimenting textbooks in the future.;오늘날 수학은 그 자체에서 뿐 아니라 과학, 공학, 경제학, 통신 등 다른 분야에까지 폭넓게 응용되며 기초 학문으로서 강조되고 있다. 따라서 수학 교육에 대한 관심과 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 그리고 이러한 연구는 수학과 교육 과정에 반영 되게 된다. 교육 과정 운영상의 문제점과 외국의 최신 동향등에 영향을 받아 개정된 제 6차 교육 과정은 수학과의 목표와 내용을 구체적으로 제시하고 있다. 그리고 이러한 교육 과정에 따라 8종의 교과서가 편찬되었다. 그런데 8종 교과서의 내용이나 구성, 특징, 연습 문제의 난이도를 한 눈에 파악하기란 쉽지 않다. 이에 본 연구에서는 제 6차 교육 과정에 의하여 편찬된 8종 교과서의 구성을 알아보고 연습 문제를 중점적으로 비교·분석하고자 한다. 본 연구의 목적은 먼저 교과서의 전체적인 구성에서부터 연습 문제의 구성까지를 살펴본 다음 연습 문제를 비교·분석하는 것이다. 연습 문제는 행동 수준에 따른 분석, 문항 작성 유형에 따른 분석, 평균 정답 비율에 따른 분석의 3가지로 나누어 살펴보겠다. 그래서 교과서별 연습 문제의 제시 방법이나 단계, 유형, 난이도등의 특징을 살펴보고 그 개선 방향을 제시하려는 것이다. 또한 교사가 교과서를 채택하거나 현장에서 수업을 할 때 도움이 되고 다음 교과서의 수정, 보완 작업에 참고 자료가 되었으면 한다.
