리눅스 운영체제를 중심으로 한 학내전산망 운영시스템 구현

Abstract

본 논문은 정보통신망과 컴퓨터에 의해 주도되는 21세기형 정보화 멀티미디어 교육을 위하여 초고속 정보통신망을 기반으로 한 리눅스를 채택한 학내 전산망 구축의 종합적인 방법론을 제시함으로써 교사들의 업무 효율화 및 교수-학습 방법을 개선하고자 하는 연구이다. 기존의 학내 전산망이 가지는 문제점은 첫째, 학내 전산망을 새롭게 구축하고 이를 유지하기 위한 비용이 책정된 교육 예산에 비하여 너무 많이 소요되고 둘째, 학교 상황에 따른 특성화된 전산망이 아닌 정부에 의한 획일적인 설계에 의한 구축으로 실제 학교 업무 및 수업에 효율적으로 활용되지 못하고 있다는 것이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이러한 단점을 보완하여 낮은 비용으로 좀더 효율적인 멀티미디어 수업 및 학사 업무가 가능한 학내 전산망을 설계, 구현해 보았다. 이를 위하여 먼저 기존의 학내 전산망에 가장 많이 사용되고 있는 Windows NT와 성능 및 효율성에 대하여 조사한 뒤 이를 리눅스 운영체제와 비교 분석함으로써 이미 학내 전산망이 구축되었거나 혹은 앞으로 구축하고자 하는 많은 학교에서 리눅스를 기본 운영체제로 채택할 수 있는 근거 자료를 제시하였다. 이 연구를 통하여 진정한 의미의 멀티미디어 수업이 가능한 저비용 고효율의 학내 전산망 구축 및 운영이 가능한 기반이 마련되기를 기대한다.;Recently, the development of new network thchnology and the internet has introduced information flooding and popularization of information. The purpose of this study is to make researched Linux-based classroom network, and to advanced a proposal on it's practical use in school education. Windows NT-based classroom network has been installed in many school already, but it has been hardly utilized for school education. Because Windows NT-based server does not serve as an application server to provide the effective teaching and learning. This study offered a new Linux-based classroom network and it's practical use in order to make up for the weak points in the current Windows NT-based classroom network, The result of this study can improve the performance of school learning through the fast execution of CAI programs, secure maintenance of server, interaction with room-to-room or school-to-school, easy network- management of TCP/IP, and remote access from home after school. Finally, this study can help to select the best client system to maximize the performance and utilization of classroom network server. Classroom network has been utilized now. It is my hope that this study will be able to the more improve the utilization of classroom network, and help for the effective school education.
