중등학교에서의 컴퓨터 통신과 인터넷 교육 모델

Abstract

21세기를 눈 앞에 두고 있는 현대 사회의 가장 큰 특징 중의 하나는 바로 정보 사회로의 급격한 이행이라고 할 수 있다. 이와 함께 미래 정보 사회를 대비하는 능력이 그 어느 때보다도 절실한 가운데 학교 컴퓨터 교육은 날로 그 중요성을 더해가고 있다. 특히, 컴퓨터 통신망을 통한 정보의 검색과 활용 능력이 강조되고 있으며, 컴퓨터 통신망을 학교 교육에 활용하려는 연구와 시도가 많이 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 현행 학교 컴퓨터 교육 과정에서의 컴퓨터 통신 교육은 그 비중면에서나 내용면에서 학생들의 정보 사회 적응에 적절치 못하다. 이 논문은 중등학교 컴퓨터 교육 과정에서의 컴퓨터 통신 교육의 현황을 분석하여 문제점을 파악하고, 이를 토대로 한 컴퓨터 통신과 인터넷 교육 모델을 설계하는 데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 우리 나라 학교 컴퓨터 교육의 전반적인 현황을 분석하여 인터넷 등 컴퓨터 통신 교육의 필요성을 강조하였으며, 중학교의 『컴퓨터』 교과와 일반계 고등학교의 『정보 산업』 교과에서의 컴퓨터 통신과 인터넷 교육 내용을 분석하고 이들의 문제점을 파악하였다. 이러한 내용들을 바탕으로 중등학교에서 이루어져야 할 컴퓨터 통신과 인터넷 교육의 모델을 설계하였다. 모델 설계에 있어서는 중등학교에서의 컴퓨터 통신과 인터넷 교육의 목표를 설정하고, 이 목표를 달성하기 위한 교육 내용을 네가지 영역으로 나누어 선정한 후, 이들 목표와 내용에 적합한 교육 모델을 도출하였다. 아울러 교육 모델을 지원하기 위해 해결되어야 할 과제들도 제시하였다. 이 연구가 중학교, 고등학교 컴퓨터 교과 과정내의 컴퓨터 통신 분야의 지도 방향을 제시하고, 학생들이 제반 문제의 해결에 컴퓨터 통신 자원을 원활히 활용할 수 있도록 이끄는 지침이 될 것으로 기대한다.;To build the bridge to the 21st centry, we are encouraged to adapt to the shifting society into information age. In order to achieve this, computer education in school is mandatory. Especially, the ability of information search through computer network is getting its importance these days. However, computer communication curriculum in school is not appropriate in volume and contents for students to acquire the knowledge of information in society. This paper analyzes current computer communication courseware in middle and high school and proposes another computer communication and internet curriculum. After analyzing current computer education system in detail, some problems are pointed out in two subjects such as 『Cornputer』 in middle school and 『Information industry』 in high school. Based on these approches, new model on computer communication and internet curriculum is obtained. To model the proposed curriculum, the goal of the curriculum is introduced and four different kinds of contents are selected. And then, the appropriate curriculum is suggested to satisfy the goal and contents. Furthermore, helpful points about supporting the curriculum are proposed. This paper may provide a proper teaching environment for computer communication and internet in middle and high school and problem solving techniques for students.
