동화의 전달방법이 유아의 동화내용기억에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 동화의 전달방법이 유아의 동화내용기억에 미치는 영향을 알아봄으로서 효과적인 동화의 전달방법을 모색하고자 하는데 있다. 구체적으로 본 논문의 연구문제는 다음과 같다. 1. 유아들이 동화의 내용을 기억하는데 있어서 녹음동화방법과 그림동화방법간에 차이가 있는가? 2. 유아들이 동화의 내용을 기억하는데 있어서 연령에 따라 어느 정도 차이가 있는가? 3. 유아들이 동화의 내용을 기억하는데 있어서 1일후의 기억검사에는 녹음동화방법과 그림동화방법간에 차이가 있는가? 이상의 문제를 해결하기 위하여 다음과 같은 실험을 실시하였다. 실험대상자는 평균 4세 2개월의 유아 20명과 5세 6개월의 유아 20명을 서대문구에 위치한 S유치원에서 무선으로 표집되었으며, 이들을 동화의 전달방법에 따라 20명씩 나누어 배정하였다. Carrol, R. (1972)의 The Whiskers Story를 각 동화전달방법으로 이들에게 들려주었고, 실시한 검사와 실험은 예비실험, 본 실험, 즉시기억검사, 1일후 기억검사 순으로 실시되었다. 자료분석은 이원변량분석으로 하였다. 본 연구에서 얻어진 결론은 다음과 같다. 1. 녹음동화를 들은 유아보다 그림동화를 들은 유아가 동화의 내용을 더 많이 기억하였다. 2. 4세 유아보다 5세 유아가 동화의 내용을 더 많이 기억하였다. 3. 1일후의 기억검사에 있어서도 녹음동화를 들은 유아보다 그림동화를 들은 유아가 동화의 내용을 더 많이 기억하였다.;This study is intended to seek an effective story telling method to preschool children in comparison with their memorizing the contents according to some different story telling method. The question for the study is follows: 1. 1. Will there be any significant differences in memorizing the contents of preschool children between the method of pictured story and the method of recorded story? 2. Will there be any significant differences in memorizing the contents of preschool children between age of the subjects? 3. After one day in memory test, will there be any significant differences in memorizing the contents of preschool children between the method of pictured story and the method of recorded story? The subjects were 20 children with average ages of 4 to 2 months, and 20 children with average ages of 5 to 6 months. They were randomly selected from S kindergarten in Seodemoon-Ku and divided in to a group 20 children, according to the different story telling method. A story, the Whiskers Story, by Carrol, R.(1972) were presented to children, according to the story tel-ling method. Experimental procedure were performed as prestest, experimental treatment, immediate and after one day in memory test. The evaluation was analized according to 2 way ANOVA. The findings on the experimental study were as follows: 1. The Children of the method of pictured story memorized more contents of the story than the method of recorded story. 2. The children of 5 years old memorized more contents of the story than the children of 4 years old. 3. The children of the method of pictured story memorized more contents of the story than the method of recorded story after one day in memory test.
