가상놀이 활동을 통한 유아과학교육 교수방법에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 가상놀이 활동이 유아과학교육에 미치는 영향을 실험 분석하여 유아과학교육에 있어서 교수학습방법의 효율성을 높이는데에 그 목적을 두고 있다. 가상놀이의 효과를 검증하기 위하여 대전시에 위치한 H유치원에 다니는 유아 50명을 대상으로 가상놀이 집단 25명과 통제집단 25명의 두 집단으로 나누어 실험연구 하였다. 연구과정은 1986년 4월 7일부터 18일까지 지능검사를 실시하고 실험은 6월부터 10월까지 2주에 1가지씩 1일 50분간씩, 6가지 활동을 실시하였다. 통제집단에게는 그림자료에 의하여 이야기 나누기 방법으로 같은 시간에, 같은 주제에 대한 수업을 실시하였다. 실험결과 측정은, 문교부 유아교육 지도자료 및 SCIS프로그램, 그리고 유아에게 친근한 생활주변으로부터 과학개념을 추출하여 검사문제를 제작하고 이 문제지에 의하여 과학적 개념이해 정도를 측정하고, 그 결과를 T검증으로 분석하였다. 통계분석 결과는, 1%수준에서 가상놀이 집단과 통제집단간에 의해 있는 차이를 보였다. 즉 가상놀이 집단이 통제집단에 비해서 유의하게 높은 점수를 나타냈다. 성차에 있어서는 두 집단 모두차이가 없었으나 연령에 따라서는 차이가 나타났다. 통제집단내에서는 연령에 따른 차이를 보이지 않았으나 가상놀이 집단내에서만 연령에 따라 유의하게 차이를 보였다. 즉, 가상놀이 집단에서는 6세가 5세에 비하여 통계적으로 유의하게 높은 점수를 나타냈다.;This study was intended to examine and analyze the effect of Make-Believe Play activity on children's science education. To test the effectiveness of the Make-Believe play, fifty children who attend the Han Nu Ri Kindergarten at Byundong, Sur Ku, Daejon were selected and divided into two groups, twenty five children of Make-Believe Play and twenty five children of control group, as an object of this study. The intelligence test was conducted from April 7, 1986 till April 18, 1986. The experimental group was taught by the six kinds of activities and each activity was done every other week, fifty minutes each day from June till Oct. The control group was taught by conventional story-telling method. The result of statistical analysis showed the significant difference between the two groups of children at the level of 1%. The experimental group showed higher score than the control group. From the above result the conclusion that the Make-Believe play can help children to understand science concept can be made. There was no significant sexual differences. But there was significant difference between age level within Make-Believe play group.
