기독교 유아교육현장에서의 인형극 활용 가능성 연구

Abstract

Getting accustomed to the development of scientific technology, children are not interested in cramming education any more, and that even makes them avoid coming to church. Therefore, there should be recognition on the necessity of teaching media, and the plan of effective teaching media is needed. The teaching media often used in Sunday schools are a blackborad, pictures, photos, maps, diagrams, a puppet show and slide etc. However, people in Christian education should develop something we can use with our sense organs because preschool children usually can't read. Nevertheless, this has been neglected in church school education. So I studied on this field, and, specially, a pyuppet show is known to be an outstanding teaching medium. Therefore I examined a puppet show which we can draw children's attention and curiosity with, to utilize it in Christian education. This study is generally proceeded with the understanding of Christian child education, Christian child education and its teaching media, the plan of using a puppet show in Christian child education field, and a conclusion. In the understanding of Christian child education, I took children for subjective learners, and arranged the characteristics of children, the purpose, contents, and methods of child education in christian child education's point fo view In Christian child education and its teaching media, I briefly explained some media which can be used in christian child edcuation and the importance of teaching media. And, I introduce the characteristics and use which a puppet show have as a teaching medium In the plan of using a puppet show, I first pointed out something which should be improved in a play and directing, and suggested that a puppet show be positively utilized in a summon, group learning, church seasons, and outdoor service summon by teachers' own made puppet show and making children participlate in it. In the conclusion, I summarized the whole study, and made a suggestion for the development of a puppet show in Christian child education as follows. To utilize a puppet show systematically, We should often to hold an institude class, and spicail lecture by inviting expoert instructors, and change into a long-term education for the improvement of teachers' quality. Also, there should be financial support, the development and distribution of text books in church, and we should grow the ability of teaching with a puppet show by orgarnizing relevant subjects in theological college;오늘날 과학기술공학의 발달로 익숙해져가는 유아들에게 교회학교에서의 주입식 전달학습은 유아들로 하여금 교회교육에 흥미를 잃게할 뿐아니라 점점 교회오는 것 조차 피하게 만들어 교수매체의 필요성에 대한 인식과 효과적으로 활용할 수 있는 교수매체의 방안이 요청되고 있다. 교회학교에서 많이 활용하고 있는 교수매체로는 칠판, 그림과 사진, 융판, 지도, 도표, 인형극, 슬라이드 등이 있다. 그러나 학령전기 유아들은 문자 해독 이전의 발달단계에 있기 때문에 기독교 유아교육현장에서는 교수매체전달은 감각기관을 활용할 수 있는 것으로 개발·활용되어야 한다. 그럼에도 불구하고 교회 학교의 교육현장은 이 분야에 대단히 소홀한 관심을 보여왔다. 그래서 본 연구에서는 이 분야를 연구하였다. 특히 인형극은 유아를 대상으로 한 탁월한 교수 매체로 알려져 있다. 그래서 유아들의 관심과 호기심을 유발할 수 있는 인형극을 기독교 유아교육현장에 활용할 수 있는 방안을 고찰하였다. 연구는 크게 기독교 유아교육의 이해, 기독교 유아교육과 교수매체, 기독교 유아교육 현장에서 인형극 활용방안, 그리고 결론으로 진행되었다. 기독교 유아교육의 이해에서는 유아를 주체적 학습자로 보고 유아의 특징, 유아교육의 목적, 내용, 방법을 기독교 교육의 관점에서 정리하였다. 기독교 유아 교육과 교수매체에서는 교수매체의 중요성 및 기독교 유아교육현장에서 활용할 수 있는 매체들을 간략하게 설명하였다. 그리고 교수매체로써 인형극이 지니고 있는 특성과 활용에 대하여 소개하였다. 인형극 활용방안에서는 현재 사용하고 있는 극본과 연출에 있어 개선점을 지적한 후 이를 바탕으로 교사가 만들어 보여주는 인형극과 유아들이 직접 인형극에 참여하는 방법으로 나누어 설교시간, 분반학습시간, 교회절기, 야외예배 설교등에 적극 활용할 수 있음을 제시하였다. 결론에서는 연구 전체를 요약하였고, 기독교 유아교육현장에서 인형극 활용발전을 위하여 다음과 같은 제언을 하였다. 인형극을 체계적으로 활용하기 위해서는 전문적 강사를 초빙하여 강습회, 특강을 자주 계획하여야 하며, 교사의 질적향상을 위하여 장기적인 교육으로 전화하여야 한다. 또한 교회에서의 재정적 지원 및 교재 연구 개발과 보급이 있어야 하며 신학대학내의 인형극 연구과목을 편성하여 인형극 지도 능력을 배양할 것이다.
