유아의 물리적지식 발달에 관한 사례 연구

Abstract

1960년대 개념체제의 전환으로 인한 Piaget이론의 개방적 해석은 '지식이란 가르쳐진다는 것에서부터 아동이 스스로 구성한다'는 생각을 갖게 하였다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 Piaget이론에 입각한 물리적 지식활동을 유아에게 실시해 보고 어린이들이 전개하는 멋진생각과 구성적 실수를 분석하여 지식의 구성과정을 알아내는데 그 목적을 두고 다음과 같은 연구 문제를 설정하였다. 1. 4, 5, 6세 유아의 멋진생각의 종류는 무엇인가? 2. 4, 5, 6세 유아의 멋진생각들의 발전양상은 어떠한가? 3. 4, 5, 6세 유아의 구성적 실수는 무엇인가? 연구 대상은 경기도 안양시 M유치원아로 4세아 4명, 5세아 3명, 6세아 4명, 총 11명 이었다. 연구 내용으로 다룬 활동은 로울러 활동(Rollers activity)이었고, 이 활동을 하기 위한 도구로는 로울러, 널판지, 나무상자, 할로우불럭, 바구니, 공, 팥주머니, 깡통, 플라스틱병, 종이블럭, 조개껍질, 책상 등을 사용하였다. 연구 과정은 1988년의 사전연구 분석 자료를 토대로 1989년 본 연구를 실시하였다. 본 연구는 9월초와 10월초 두차례에 걸쳐 아동 활동을 8㎜ 비디오 카메라로 녹화한 후 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 멋진생각의 종류는 연령이 낮은 유아보다는 연령이 높은 유아에게서, 1차 활동보다는 사물과의 조작 경험이 있었던 2차 활동에서 더 다양하게 나타났다. 또한 멋진생각은 다른 멋진생각을 구성하도록 하여 유아로 하여금 창의적인 생각을 전개하는데 공헌하였다. 2. 멋진생각의 발전양상은 일정한 과정을 거쳐 발전하고 있었으며 이는 단계적으로 단순한 관계에서의 복합적인 관계의 멋진생각으로 발전되어졌다. 단계적 과정은 건너뛰거나 앞으로 되돌아가지 않으면서 전 단계를 거쳐야만이 다음 단계의 관계들을 구성할 수 있었다. 3. 각 연령에서 보이는 구성적 실수는 그들의 사고를 반영하고 있었으며 구성적 실수를 극복, 수정해 나가는 과정에서 새로운 지식이 구성되어져 가는 것을 알 수 있었다.;The paradigm shift in the 1960s had brought by a free translation of piaget's theory, that in children construct Knowledge by themselves. In this respect., the researcher of this study attempted to find out children wonderful ideas and constructive errors. The questions for this study are as follows: 1. what kind of wonderful. ideas children have? 2. what are the developmental pattern of wonderful ideas? 3. what are the constructive errors made by children? The Sample of the study, Children of M kindergarden in Anyang City, Kyung-Ki DO. For the activities rollers, boards, wooden boxes! hallow: blocks, baskets, balls, red-bean Pouches , empty cans plastic bottles, paper blocks, shells, etc were given. And the activities were video-taped, of analqed according to study questions. The results on this study are as follows: 1. The kinds of wonderful ideas increased by the age increase, It is found that infuence to another wonderful idea, and hads to a creative thinking. 2. It is found that the development pattern of wonderful idea appeared. That is a sequential order is existed, it is not skipped by the children therefore, next Step is followed by the preexperience with rollers. 3. Constructive errors at each age level reflects children's contends of knowledge. It is also found that knowledge is acquired through the process to modify errors.
