정신지체아 학습평가도구 설계 및 구현

Abstract

Individual Study is the heart kernel on the education for mentally retarded people. Proper evaluation reviewing individual difference should be preceded. Then, the result of intended education target should be evaluated continuously in the process of education. In addition, it should be contributory to accomplish the target after all when the evaluation is over. To gain the effectiveness in Individual Study at the side of CMI(Computer Managed Instruction), the study is accomplished by designing and implementing the adequate evaluating tool that could be used in actual education site covering the various problems of existing evaluating methods. CA-Clipper 5.2 is used as a development tool and a pull-down menu is adopted for user's convenience. In this study, simplified and objective evaluation is accessible by laying out all required information for evaluation on one screen intensively. By designing a flexible database system, formal evaluation like maintaining fixed relationship between each student and a database is overcome. By instant presentation of the evaluation results right after the evaluation is finished, it is also possible for a teacher to grasp accomplished level of a student and to lay a long or short term education target and instruction scheme at once so that it is contributive for the student's Individual Study. Also, using this tool, the evaluation method, which has been subjective enough for each school and teacher, is standardized and systematized. SETMPR designed and implemented in the study is the basic method oriented for domestic mentally retarded people and for practical use in education site. Through adding and modifying the evaluation items according to actual circumstances of each school, and also through accumulating more statistical materials by the database system, researches for the most appropriate and effective program should be continued.;정신지체아 교육의 핵심은 개인차에 대응하는 개별화 학습이다. 이런 교육의 학습성취도를 극대화하기 위해서는 개인차를 고려한 알맞은 평가가 선행되어야하고, 동시에 교육이 수행되어가는 과정에서도 의도된 교육목표의 성취정도가 계속 평가되어져야 하며 평가가 행해진 뒤에도 다시 학습활동에 영향을 주어 지식습득의 목적을 달성하는데 기여할 수 있어야 한다. 본 논문은 기존 평가방법의 여러 문제점을 해결하고, CMI(컴퓨터를 이용한 교육경영 및 관리, Computer Managed Instruction)측면에서 현 정신지체아 학교 실정에 적합한 SETMRP(Study Evaluation Tool for Mentally Retarded People)를 설계·구현하므로써 개별학습의 효과를 얻을 수 있도록 하였다. 이 SETMRP는 데이타베이스 언어인 클리퍼(CLIPPER) 5.2로 구현하였고 교사가 보다 사용하기 편하도록 풀-다운(Pull-Down)메뉴방식으로 설계하였다. 교사가 쉽게 작업할 '수 있도록 평가시 필요한 정보를 한 화면에 집약하므로써 평가과정의 간소화는 물론 평가방법의 체계화를 이루었다. 또한, 평가 후 학생개별 평가결과를 즉시 상세하게 제시하므로써 교사가 학습자 개개인의 성취수준을 파악하고 학습목표 설정 및 교수방안을 세워 바로 교수(Instruction)에 피이드백(feedback)시킴으로서 개별학습에 도움을 줄 수 있도록 하였다. 본 논문에서 구현한 SETMRP는 우리나라 정신지체 학교교육현장에서 실제 사용가능하도록 그 기본방향을 제시하므로써 평가방법의 체계화는 물론 학습자의 개별학습에 보다 나은 효과를 줄 것이다.
