비전공자를 위한 창작 지도 연구

Abstract

현대사회는 급변하는 상황에 대처할 순 있는 창조적 능력을 지닌 인간을 요구하고 있으며 21세기 미래 사회를 이끌어갈 주역은 보다 다양하고 창의적이며 독창적인 인간이어야 할 것이다. 이러한 시대의 흐름에 부응하여 음악 교육과 이념도 자주적이고 창조적인 인간을 만들기 위한 것으로 음악교육에서 창작표현 활동을 함으로써 논리적인 사고와 뚜렷한 가치관을 가질 수 있도록 한다. 그럼에도 불구하고 우리의 교육현장은 학생들의 잠재력과 창의력을 무시한 채 주입식이고 입시경향에 맞춘 이론의 암기 교육으로 일관되어있다. 획일적인 교육과정과 입시위주의 교육으로 음악교육에 있어서도 창의성이 배제되어 행하여지고 있다. 가창일변도의 수업 분위기나 창작 교육을 실시하기 위한 교구의 부족, 창작 표현 활동에 관한 확고한 교사의 의식의 부재, 점차 단축되는 음악 수업시간 수 등이 창의성 교육을 저해하는 요인이 된다. 이 논문의 목적은 창작표현의 과정을 대학 교양 과정에 포함 시켜서 음악을 전공하지 않는 비전공자들이 창작표현 활동을 함으로써 독자적이고 융통성있는 사고력을 기르며 생활교육으로서의 일환이 될 수 있도록 하는데 있다. 본 연구는 창조성 계발을 위한 음악교육에 관하여 고찰하였으며 창작 활동의 기본이 되는 리듬과 가락을 단계적으로 구안한 창작지도 방안을 제시하였다. 가락창작에서는 가락 만들기의 방법등을 동기를 부여하여 창작하도록 유도하였으며 이것을 자유로운 창작과 즉흥연주로 연장시켜서 포괄적인 음악 교육이 되도록 하였다. 동기 만들기와 동기발전방법 등을 익혀서 음악의 기본 개념과 원리를 인지하도록 하였으며 동요를 주제로 하여 변주곡을 만들어 봄으로써 다양한 리듬과 가락을 표현할 수 있도록 하였다. 창작한 가락에 다양한 반주를 붙이는 방법등을 시도하였으며 20세기의 기본적인 기법으로 창작하도록 지도 방안을 마련했다. 그 다음 단계로는 세도막 형식의 곡과 피아노 소품을 창작할 수 있도록 유도하였다. 본 연구는 창작표현 활동을 흥미롭고 쉬운 방법으로 접근할 수 있도록 기본적 인 창작 방법을 제시하였다. 이 창작 과정은 학생들의 하고자 하는 의욕을 고취시키며 능동적인 음악적 체험을 통해서 창작 학습의 효율성을 높이게 된다. 이와 같이 심미적 태도와 무한한 상상력을 기를 수 있도록 하는데 이 연구가 도움이 될 것이다. 학생들이 잠재력을 발휘하여 창의성과 융통성 있는 사고력을 기를 수 있는 효율적인 창작 지도 방법이 음악 교육에서 계속적으로 연구되어야 할 것이다. 본 연구에서는 음악의 기본적인 개념과 원리만을 다루었으며 국악 창작의 분야는 언급하지 않았으므로 더욱 구체적이고 활발한 창작과정에 대한 연구가 진행되어 창작활동의 중요성을 인식하도록 해야할 것이며 국악 창작에도 노력을 기울여야 할 것이다.;Modern society demands people with creative and innovative ability to deal with rapidly changing situations in the upcoming 21st century. To meet that demand the doctrine of music education should be adapted to allow for a more creative and independent-minded person. Through creative expression activities in music education this doctrine can draw out that person's logical reasoning and create new perspectives and values in music. However, our current education system ignores students' potential creative ability. Information is just being fed to the students, focusing more on memory throughout the school education as if memorizing for a college entrance examination. Due to the unilateral curriculum, creativity in music education has been excluded. For instance, music classes emphasize vocal performance. The shortage of materials and tools for music education, the lack of teachers' consciousness for creative expression, and also the shortened hours of music classes are the major factors hindering creative education. The purpose of this thesis is to examine how a creative expression course for non-music majors should be made mandatory in college curricula. This should be established so that they can participate in this creative expression activity and develop their creative and cogent abilities. In setting up this activity as part of the curricula, music education can contribute to life education. The thesis also studies music education for the development of creativity. At the same time it presents some models in creative instructive methods which are designed systematically for rhythm and melody, the basic factors in this creative activity. This study tries to encourage free composition and improvisation of melody and rhythm by giving students some musical motives and extensive encouragement making music education more comprehensive. By learning the developmental method for creativity students will understand the basic concepts and principles of music. For example, one can make variations with children songs to express various types of rhythm and melody. When one uses the creative development method one will also attempt to make different kinds of accompaniment to the created melody. This study will also provide some models in creative instruction with 20th century techniques. This will be demonstrated by creating 3 part-song-form and piano pieces. This thesis also presents some basic methods to make creative expression more interesting and easier for access in music education. This creative expression course would encourage students through an active musical experience to enhance the effectiveness of this proposal. This thesis can help cultivate aesthetic perception and allow room for imagination. I believe an effective and creative teaching method should be studied and continuously developed in music education. An effective teaching method would encourage creativity and expand one's logical abilities by eliciting one's potential. In this thesis only the basic concepts and principles of music are dealt with. This type of study should be carried out to let the people understand the importance of creative expression. The creation and/or composition of Korean traditional music are not mentioned in this thesis. However, I hope it will be studied in the near future since we also need the development of creativity in our traditional music.
