아동의 우울성향과 내외통제성 및 어머니 언어 통제 유형의 관계

Abstract

This study is designed to find a relationship of children's depression tendency and Children's locus of control, and research mother's verbal control mode conceived by her children. Futhermore it is aimed to examine the locus of control and mother's verbal control mode according to other's educational standard, children's grade and sex. Under this aim, it serveyed 330 pupils from 4th, 5th, and 6th grade in 2 elementary school at Gwang-ju. Among this material it selected available 312 cases and operated Pearson's correlationship coefficiency, One-way ANOVA, and T-test by SPSS/PC+. On this study, it used CDI(Chi1dren's depression inventory) adapted by Cho Su-chol, Lee Young-sik(l990), which was formulized by Kovacs(l981) for measuring children's depression tendency, and applicated A locus of control scale for children for measuring Children's locus of control which was translated by Jung Eun-Joo adapted to Korea's situation. Finally to search mother's verbal control made perceived by children, it is used adapted questionare by Bernstein(l971) and Gumperz(l973). The result obtained through this study can be summarized as follows: 1. There is a significance relationship between children's depression tendency and Children's locus of control. 2. There is a significance differences in mother's verbal control mode in regard of children's depression tendency and mother's verbal control modes. 3. There is a significance differences in mother's verbal control mode in regard of mother's education standard. 4. There is a significance differences in Children's depression tendency in regard of mother's education standard. 5. In regard of children's grade, there is a significance differences in mother's verbal control modes, but not in children's depression tendency or children's locus of control. 6. In regard of children's sex, there is a significance differences in children's locus of control, but not in children's depression tendency or mother's verbal control modes.;본 연구는 아동의 우울성향과 아동의 내외 통제성의 관계와 아동의 우울성향 및 내외 통제성에 따른 아동이 지각한 어머니의 언어 통제 유형을 알아보려 했다. 그리고 이에 부가하여 어머니의 교육수준과 아동의 학년, 성별에 따른 아동의 내외통제성과 어머니의 언어 통제 유형을 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 광주 광역시에 소재한 2개 국민학교 4,5,6학년 아동 330명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 이중 312명의 자료를 가지고 SPSS/PC+를 이용하여 Pearson의 적률상관계수, 일원변량분석(One-way Anova), T 검증 등을 실시하였다. 본 연구에서는 아동의 우울성향을 측정하기 위하여 Kovacs(1981)가 구성한 아동용 우울검사(CDI: Children's Depression Inventory)를 조수철과 이영석(1990)이 번안한 것을 사용하였으며, 아동의 내외통제성을 측정하기 위해서 Nowicki와 Strickland(1973)의 아동용 내외통제 척도(A locus of control scale for children)를 정은주, 손진훈(1981)이 우리나라 실정에 맞도록 번역 수정하여 제작한 학생용 내외통제성 척도를 사용하였다. 그리고 아동이 지각한 어머니의 언어 통제 유형을 측정하기 위하여 번안된 Bernstein(1971)과 Gumperz(1973)의 질문지를 사용하였다. 본 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 아동의 우울성향과 내외통제성은 의미있는 상관이 있었다. 2. 아동의 우울성향 및 내외통제성에 따라 아동이 지각한 어머니의 언어 통제 유형은 의미있는 차이가 있었다. 3. 어머니의 교육수준에 따라 어머니의 언어 통제 유형은 의미있는 차이가 있었다. 4. 어머니의 교육수준에 따라 아동의 우울성향은 의미있는 차이가 있었다. 5. 아동의 학년에 따라 어머니의 언어 통제 유형에는 의미있는 차이가 있었으나, 아동의 우울성향, 내외통제성은 유의미한 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 6. 아동의 성별에 따라서는 아동의 내외통제성에 의미있는 차이가 있었으나, 아동의 우울성향, 어머니의 언어 통제 유형은 유의미한 차이를 나타내지 않았다.
