유아기 자녀의 문제 행동에 대한 부모의 귀인에 관한 연구

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the attribution tendency of the parent about their children's behavior problems. And, it was also to investigate parent's affective reaction and behavioral reaction according to the attribution. The study qeustions are as follow : 1. Is there any difference between the parent's attributions tendency about children ' s behavior problems 2. Is there any relation between the parent's attribution and affective reaction about children's behavior problems ? 3. Is there any relation between the parent's attribution and behavioral reaction about children 's behavior problems ? 4. Is there any relation between the parent's affective reaction and behavioral reaction about children's behavior problems ? Thesubjects of this study was 126 mothers and 156 fathers of who had chidren aged 5. The instrument that is devised and used by Melissa Sweitzer's(l986) is modified and used by this researcher. The questionnaire was composed of four stones. After reading these stories, parents were asked to answer their causal attributions. The data of the present study was analyzed with the t-test, the significance of Pearson's correlation coefficient. The result of this study was as follows : 1. There was a significant difference on the parent's attribution about their children's behavior problems. Mothers had the more internal attribution about their children's behavior problems. 2. The relationship between the parent's attribution and affective reaction to the behavior problem of the children showed various affective reaction according to the pattern of attribution factor and behavior problem. 3. The relationship between the parent's attribution and behavioral reaction to the behavior problem of the children appeared variously in accordance with the attribution factor and behavior problem. 4. The parent's behavioral reaction was also various according to the different affective reaction to the behavior problem of the their children. it was shown, moreover, that the parents frequently used the spank for the behavior problems of the their children.;본 연구의 목적은 유아기 자녀의 문제 행동에 대한 어머니, 아버지의 귀인 성향을 분석하고, 그 귀인에 따른 어머니, 아버지의 정서적 반응 및 행동적 반응이 어떻게 나타나는 가를 알아보는 것이다. 이와같은 목적에 따라 다음과 같은 연구 문제를 설정하였다. 문제 1. 유아의 문제 행동에 대한 부와 모의 귀인 양식은 차이가 있는가? 문제 2. 유아의 문제 행동에 대한 부와 모의 귀인과 정서적 반응은 어떠한 관계가 있는가? 문제 3. 유아의 문제 행동에 대한 부와 모의 귀인과 행동적 반응은 어떠한 관계가 있는가? 문제 4. 유아의 문제 행동에 대한 부와 모의 정서적 반응과 행동적 반응간에는 어떠한 관계가 있는가? 본 연구는 서울과 안양에 거주하는 만 5세 유아를 둔 어머니 156명과 아버지 156명을 대상으로 하였다. 연구 도구는 Melissa Sweitzer (1986)가 개발한 질문지를 수정하여 사용하였다. 수집된 자료된 SPSS/PC' 프로그램을 사용하여 t-검증과 Pearson 상관계수를 추정하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 자녀의 문제에 행동에 대하여 어머니, 아버지 간에 차이가 있었다. 지식, 능력, 기질, 운 중에서 특히 기질적인 요인에 있어서 차이가 있었으며 어머니가 아버지보다 더 내적인 요인으로 귀인하는 경향이 높았다. 2. 자녀의 문제 행동에 대하여 어머니, 아버지의 귀인성향과 정서적 반응은 귀인 요인에 따라 정서적 반응이 다양하게 나타났다. 어머니는 특히 자녀의 문제 행동을 기질로 귀인할 때 자녀를 불쌍하게 생각하는 경향이 두드러지게 나타났다. 3. 자녀의 문제 행동에 대하여 어머니, 아버지의 귀인 성향과 행동적 반응은 귀인 요인에 따라 다양하게 나타났다. 어머니의 경우 자녀의 문제 행동을 특히 기질적인 것으로 귀인하였으며 행동적 반응은 문제 행동에 따라 다양하게 나타났다. 아버지의 경우는 각 귀인 요인에 따라 대처하는 방법이 다르게 나타났다. 4. 자녀의 문제 행동에 대하여 어머니, 아버지의 정서적 반응과 행동적 반응은 각기 다른 정서적 반응에 따라 행동적 반응이 다양하게 나타났다. 그러나 어머니, 아버지 모두 처벌을 가장 많이 사용하였다.
