방정식론의 발전의 고찰

Abstract

고대 그리이스, 4대문명 발상지와 더불어 시작된 지식의 한 독립체로서 수학이 탄생된 이래로 거의 이천년 이상에 걸쳐 수학자들은 진리를 추구하였다. 이러한 진리를 추구하면서 발달한 수학은 단순한 지식의 누적으로 인한 발전뿐만 아니라 항시 어떤 새로운 paradigm의 출현으로 인하여 수학의 맥이 형성되고 있으며 앞으로도 이러한 과정은 되풀이될 것이다. 본 논문에서는 방정식론의 발전에 대해 연구하고자 하는데 그 목적을 두고있다. 고대의 중국과 이집트를 중심으로한 실생활에 필요했던 이유로 생긴 계산술론적인 paradigm으로부터 오늘날의 추상적인 군론적 Paradigm에 이르기까지 단순한 지식의 누적외에 창조적인 paradigm의 출현이 오늘날의 방정식론의 위치를 형성하고 있다. 이리하여 고대에서 근대로 이어지는 방정식론의 역사를 더듬으면서 인류의 이성의 진보과정을 발견하려 한다.;The purpose of the thesis is to study the development of the theory of equation. First we review the method of solving equation in ancient Chaina & Egypt were developed for the practical purpose such as surveying the lands and the measurement. Therefore the calculative paradigm had formed. But modern theory of equations have made astonishing result discovering the abstract group and field paradigms. I hoped to find t h e advanced process of the human thinking by Considering the development of the theory of equations form ancient to modern times.
