다면평가에 의한 팀 프로젝트 관리 및 평가 시스템의 설계 및 구현

Abstract

제7차 교육과정이 시행됨에 따라 개별적 평가 외에 팀을 편성하여 팀 단위로 과제를 해결하도록 하는 평가 방법을 적용하여 문제를 해결하도록 유도하고 있으며, 팀 단위의 협동적인 문제 해결 과정을 통해 고등 사고력이나 의사소통 능력과 사회적 기술 등을 기를 수 있는 팀 프로젝트 학습이 점차 늘어나고 있다. 팀 프로젝트 학습이란 학생이 학습의 전 과정에서 주도성을 지니고서 주제, 제재, 문제, 쟁점 등에 관한 탐구 활동과 그 결과에 대한 표현 활동을 하며, 그 결과 만들어 가는 교육과정의 성격이 나타나는 학습이라고 할 수 있다. 그러나 이러한 팀 프로젝트 학습은 학습과정 관리의 어려움 및 공정한 평가가 이루어지기 어렵다는 이유로 현재 많은 교사들이 이 수업방식을 꺼려하고 있다. 이에, 교사가 학습과정의 관리를 수월하게 할 수 있도록 하기 위한 방안과 팀원 간의 협동 활동을 통해 문제를 해결해나가야 하는 팀 프로젝트 학습의 특성상, 팀의 성공에 동일한 노력을 기울이지 않은, 다시 말해 무임승차를 하려는 학습자에게 어떻게 점수를 부여해 공정한 평가가 될 수 있을지에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 또한, 지금까지 제안된 팀 프로젝트 학습 시스템은 교과서 밖에서 학습자의 동기를 유발하는 주제를 정하도록 하고 있으나, 이미 제7차 교육과정의 시행에 따라 교과서에 ‘함께 해보기’, ‘모둠학습’등의 이름으로 팀 프로젝트 학습을 위한 주제들이 제시되어 있어 보다 적극적인 교과서의 활용이 요구된다. 따라서, 학습과정 관리상의 어려움과 평가의 불공정성, 그리고 지금까지의 팀 프로젝트 학습 시스템에서 드러난 문제점 등을 개선해야 할 필요가 있다. 본 논문에서는 현실적인 문제점들을 인식하고 팀 프로젝트의 학습의 결과뿐만 아니라 프로젝트의 진행과정을 좀 더 투명하게 하여 교사의 학습 관리에 도움이 될 수 있는 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다.;Cooperative study disciplines, in a form of team project, are more encouraged with the introduction of the 7th Curriculum to help students develop cooperative problem solving skills and effective communication skills, all of which are essential capabilities required by the modern society. By team projects, students are urged to take the leadership in almost every aspects of the projects including researching topics, defining problems, and also proposing approaches to the solutions. As such, the focus of the team project is equally on the process itself as much as on the results, which is quite different from that of previous study disciplines focusing on the results only. It is important to note that the corresponding evaluation process is spread all over the team project activities, making it difficult to apply traditional ways of evaluation based solely on the results. For example, for fair and square evaluation, it is required to sort out students trying to have free ride from those actively participating in the projects activities. Actually, this is one of many obstacles deferring the widespread adoption of the team projects disciplines. To overcome this situation it is in urgent need to develop effective project management and evaluation system, which is the main topic of this thesis. Another difficulty deferring the adoption of the team projects disciplines was that the topics of projects should be acquired outside the regular textbooks with extra research efforts, meaning too much of burden to both teachers and students. To lower this threshold, the 7th Curriculum tried to bring the team projects activities within the regular textbook and it is meaningful to take this into consideration while developing team project management and evaluation system. In this thesis, an effective team project management and evaluation system is developed. Main focus of this system is to reveal as many student activities as required during the course of team projects such that teachers can easily identify and manage them throughout the entire project process. Also, a systematic evaluation method is developed based on the revealed activities helping the evaluation process remain fair and square.
