초임교사를 돕기위한 임상장학 적용 사례

Abstract

본 연구는 초임교사를 돕기 위한 방법으로 임상장학을 실시하고, 임상장학의 실질적인 사례가 구체적으로 진행되는 과정을 알아보고, 임상장학을 통한 유아와 교사, 장학요원의 변화를 알아보는데 목적을 두었다. 이에 따른 연구문제는 다음과 같다. 1. 초임교사를 돕기 위한 임상장학의 운영과정은 어떠한가? 2. 임상장학을 통한 교사와 유아, 장학요원의 변화는 어떠한가? 본 연구의 대상은 서울시 G구 S동에 위치한 D 유치원에 근무하는 초임교사 2명이며, 장학요원은 같은 유치원에 근무하는 교사 1명이었다. 임상장학을 실시한 기간은 2005년 8월 24일부터 10월 18일까지 약 9주간이었다. 본 연구에서는 초임교사가 갖고 있는 어려움을 파악하고 이를 돕기 위한 방법으로 Reiman과 Thies-sprinthall(1998)의 임상장학의 8단계 모형을 적용하여 실시하였다. 임상장학을 위한 자료는 녹음, 비디오 촬영, 면접, 저널 등을 통해 수집되어 분석되었다. 임상장학을 통한 교사와 유아, 장학요원의 변화를 알아보기 위해 관찰기록법, 질문지법, 자기평가서가 사용되었다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본 연구는 초임교사를 돕기 위한 방법으로 임상장학을 원내자율장학으로 실시하였다. 임상장학의 1 단계에서 장학요원과 초임교사는 토의활동과 교육활동 협의를 통해 친밀감과 신뢰감을 높였으며, 장학이 진행되는 동안 활발한 의사소통을 하였다. 장학요원은 초임교사의 개별적인 발달수준과 관심사를 파악하여 임상장학을 진행함으로써 임상장학의 효과를 높였다. 둘째, 임상장학을 통해 초임교사, 유아, 장학요원은 모두 긍정적인 변화를 보였다. 초임교사는 장학의 목표를 달성하고, 교수학습 기술을 연습함으로써 지식과 기술 측면, 자기 이해 측면에서의 능력이 향상되었다. 장학에 대한 개념이 확장되었으며, 장학을 긍정적으로 인식하게 되었고, 교사로서 유아를 대하는 태도가 변화되었다. 유아들은 교사와의 교수학습과정을 통해 초임교사가 목표로 하는 행동을 나타냈다. 장학요원은 장학의 중요성을 인식하고 전문성을 신장시키는 계기가 되었다.;This research aims to examine the concrete process of the clinical supervision case as a method of supporting a first appointed teacher, and furthermore, purposes to look into the change of a teacher, preschool children, and a supervisor through the clinical supervision. This study establishes its subject as following: 1. What is the administration process of the clinical supervision to support a first appointed teacher about? 2. What is the change of a teacher, preschool children, and a supervisor through the clinical supervision about? The object of this research is two first appointed teachers who work for D-preschool located in S-dong, G-gu, Seoul, and one supervisor who works for the same preschool as a teacher. The clinical supervision had been brought into operation for approximately nine weeks from 24th August, 2005 to 18th October. The eight-stage model of the clinical supervision by Reiman and Thies-sprinthall(1998) applied to this study to examine the difficulty which a first appointed teacher confronts. The data for the clinical supervision was collected by the audio and video recording, interview, and journal. Anecdotal reports, questionnaire, and self-revaluation were accomplished in order to look into the change of a teacher, preschool children, and a supervisor through the clinical supervision. The result of this research is as below: First, this study operated the self-regulated supervising system inside the preschool as a method of supporting a first appointed teacher. At the first stage of the clinical supervision, the supervisor and the first appointed teacher enhanced their intimacy and trust through the discussion activity and the conference for education activity, and they communicated each other actively while the supervision was progressing. The supervisor progressed the clinical supervision based on the understanding of the level of individual development and the interest of the first appointed teacher, and it could help to heighten the effect of the clinical supervision. Secondly, a first appointed teacher, preschool children, and the supervisor brought out the positive change through the clinical supervision. The first appointed teacher improved the ability of knowledge and skill, and self-comprehension by accomplishing the goal of the supervision, and by practicing the teaching and learning skill. In addition, the teacher not only came to expand the notion of supervising, and came to look at it in the positive light, but also changed attitude as a teacher toward preschool children. Preschool children, showed behavior at which the first appointed teacher aimed through the teaching and learning process with a teacher. The supervisor was led to perceive the importance of supervising and to extend the specialty.
