의미성립 관계를 지원하는 아이콘 언어 저작도구의 설계 및 구현

Abstract

본 논문은 아이콘을 사용하여 의사소통이 가능하도록 하는 아이콘 언어를 주제로 한다. 의사소통의 욕구는 인간이 사회생활을 영위하고 하나의 존재로 살아가기 위한 필수적인 요건이다. 오늘날 언어의 수는 수없이 많지만 세계의 다양한 민족과 의사소통을 하기 위해 그 많은 언어를 배우기는 어렵다. 실제적으로 에스페란토라는 세계 공용어가 있지만 다양한 민족이 그것을 쉽게 터득하여 의사소통을 하는데 어려움이 있다. 반면, 아이콘 언어는 세계의 모든 사람들이 아이콘이라는 직관적인 매개체로 쉽게 의사소통을 하기 위한 대안이 될 수 있으며, 글을 읽지 못하는 유아와 노인의 의사소통에 도움을 줄 수 있고, 구어에 자유롭지 못한 장애인이나 특수아동에게 보조적인 언어전달의 수단으로도 활용될 수 있다. 본 논문은 아이콘 언어의 보다 명확한 의미의 전달을 위하여 아이콘 언어의 토대가 되는 단어와 문장의 기초적인 통사규칙을 정하고, 아이콘간의 의미성립관계를 설정하여 보다 지능적으로 아이콘 언어를 만들 수 있는 아이콘 언어 저작도구를 JAVA와 XML을 이용하여 구현하고자 하였다. 아이콘 언어의 설계는 국제어로서의 가능성을 두어 아이콘을 주어, 서술어, 목적어의 어순으로 나열하고, 단어는 품사별로, 문장은 문장성분과 문장의 기능f별로 나누어 설계하였다. 아이콘 언어 저작도구는 아이콘들 간의 의미성립 관계를 지원하고, XML문서와의 연동을 통한 아이콘 문장의 불러오기, 이동, 저장 등의 기능을 가지도록 하였다 또한 아이콘의 정보를 모두 DB화 하였으며, 아이콘에 접근이 용이하도록 아이콘의 검색기능을 가지도록 하였다. 이런 아이콘 언어 저작도구의 설계 및 구현은 아이콘 언어의 실용화에 바탕이 될 수 있을 것이다.;This study proposed an icon language as a medium for communication using icons. Desire of communication is the indispensable requirement for man performing a social life. But There are so many languages in the world . It is difficult to study many of the languages in order to communicate with various races. An icon language is useful in overcoming the diversity of languages. In addition, it may be valuable for the disabled who have difficulties in communication and for infant education related to the development of creativity. This study defined the grammatical rules of an icon language, designed icon sentences based on the grammatical frame to express meanings, and implemented an icon language authoring tool using a JAVA and XML. The icon language authoring tool can make an icon sentence more intellectually because the authoring tool is supporting semantic relation between icons. Word order of icons is designed by adopting the expressing method of English for considering possibility as an international language. Also, the icon language authoring tool supports the semantic formation relation between icons and has functions such as load, add, save of icon sentences through linking with an XML document. All of the icon saves at DB and supports search function of icon so that approach might be easy to an wanted icon. This study of design and implementation of icon language Authoring tool is expected to contribute to practical use of icon language in the future.
