고등학교 음악교과서의 쇤베르크 음악연구

Abstract

본 논문에서는 제7차 교육과정에 의한 고등학교 음악교과서 8종, 음악과 생활 교과서 2종에 나타난 쇤베르크 음악과 그 특징이 어떤 작품들을 통해 소개되고 있는지 알아보고 이를 바탕으로 쇤베르크의 표현주의 대표작품을 분석하여 학생들이 20세기 음악을 경험하고, 보다 깊이 이해할 수 있는 기회를 제공하는 것에 그 목적이 있다. 쇤베르크 음악의 이해를 위해서 쇤베르크에 관한 선행연구를 살펴보았고, 쇤베르크의 생애와 작품양식의 변화에 따른 쇤베르크 음악의 특징과 작품에 대해 살펴보았다. 또한 음악교과서에서 쇤베르크 음악 중 표현주의 음악에 관한 내용을 분석해 보았고, 교과서에 쇤베르크 음악 중 표현주의 음악의 특징을 학습하도록 수록된 「달에 홀린 삐에로 Op. 21」을 분석하였다. 교과서 분석 결과 다음과 같은 문제점을 발견 할 수 있었다. 첫째, 쇤베르크 음악 중 표현주의 음악에 영향을 미친 19세기 후반부터 20세기 초의 회화와 문학에 관한 교과서의 내용은 전혀 없었으며, 표현주의 음악의 특징들도 구체적인 설명과 예시 없이 나열식으로만 소개되거나 그러한 제시도 없이 학습하도록 되어 있다. 둘째, 교과서별로 정도의 차이는 있으나 표현주의 음악은 감상영역과 음악사 부분에서만 학습하도록 되어 있고, 가창, 기악, 창작 영역에서는 학습이 이루어 질 수가 없어 통합학습을 하기에 어려운 실정이다. 셋째, 감상수업에 자료로 쓰인 악보는 곡목의 처음 몇 마디만 제시되어 있어 표현주의 음악기법을 이해하는데 어려움이 있다. 본 연구를 통하여 교과서의 내용만 가지고도 학생들이 표현주의 음악의 특징을 바르게 학습할 수 있고, 대부분 감상영역에 치우쳐 있는 쇤베르크 음악 학습을 가창, 창작, 기악영역을 통해서 학습 할 수 있는 자료를 제시함으로써 자기주도적인 학습능력을 기를 수 있도록 하였다. 이를 통하여 앞으로 전개될 제8차 교육과정에 의한 음악 교과서 편찬에 조금이라도 도움이 되고자 한다.;In this thesis, I wanted to check how the expressionistic music of A. Schoenberg and their remarkable features, which is put on eight kinds of high school music textbooks and two kinds of music & life textbooks revised by the 7th national curriculum, was introduced with which works. Based on the checked results, I analyzed the representative work of A. Schoenberg in expressionistic music. The purpose of this thesis is to provide high school students the chance to widely experience and deeply understand the 20th century music. For the proper understanding of the expressionistic music of A. Schoenberg, this study investigates the preceding study and examines the features of the A. Schoenberg according to the change of his life and composing style. Besides this, I analyze the contents of the expressionistic music of A. Schoenberg, and 「Pierrot Lunaire Op.21」 in the current high school textbooks. As a result of examining of the textbooks, there are some problems in the current high school music textbooks. Those problems are as follows. First, there are no contents which explain the painting and poetry of the late 19th century and the 20th century which were influential to the expressionistic music. In addition, the musical features are only orderly listed without any specific descriptions and examples. Second, the contents of the expressionistic music in the current high school textbooks are only concentrated in the musical history and listening part even if partly different. So it is impossible to combinedly study in the parts of singing, instrumental music and creative music. Third, it is first some measures of the musical notes in texts used in the listening class. Therefore, it is difficult to understand the musical methods of the expressionism. Through this study, I presents the appropriate examples for the instruction in order that the students can learn the precise notion of expressionism only with a textbook. Moreover, I show the method which can develop the students' learning ability throughout not only listening but also singing, composing and playing part in order to give a good guide to the next edition, the 8th national curriculum.
