1920~30년대 중국 평민음악교육에 대한 연구

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to conduct an in-depth study and analysis on the formation, implications, and specific practical activities and methods of common people's music ideas, taking Chinese commoners' music education in the 1920s and 30s as the research object. The 1920s and 1930s were a period when various Western cultures were introduced into China. In this social background, various educational ideologies emerged, one of which was the education ideology of common people. In this thesis, which is a study on common people'ism and common people education ideology, first, the origin and historical background of commoners education thought, the value and purpose of commoners education, and the contents, methods of education are explored practical activities, education were analyzed. Here, the subject of the activity is dealt with in two aspects, group and individual, with Li Jinhui and Liu Tianhua, who advocated 'Common people Music' as representatives, as well as the activities of commone people schools, leisure schools, and music clubs as groups. Through the analysis, this thesis was able to derive problems and limitations as well as the overall characteristics and social impact of Chinese common people music education in the 1920s and 30s. The ideas and practices of music education for Chinese common people in the 1920s and 1930s mainly emphasized the social role of music education and reflected the practicality of music education contents. The practice of music education for the common people improved the common people's entertainment life, supported the development of traditional Chinese music, and promoted the popularization of the development direction of music creation.Also, for the first time in the history of music education in China, large-scale music education activities for common people were conducted, effectively complementing the limitations of school music education. On the other hand, the limitations of music education for common people in China were also clear. First, the implementation method and form were monotonous. Second, a complete music education system was not formed. In fact, only the social function of music education was emphasized, and the unique aesthetic education characteristics of music education weren't reflected. Since the meaning of the word 'common people' also changes with the times, it is impossible to look at the past only from the perspective of the present. The significance of music education for common people in China in the 1920s and 1930s, promoted by educators and musicians who emphasized the importance of education for common people, provides useful reference materials for the development of music education for common people in urban communities and rural areas.;본 연구는 1920~30년대 중국 평민음악교육을 연구 대상으로 삼고, 평민음악 사상의 형성, 함축, 구체적인 실천 활동 및 방법에 대해 심도 깊은 연구와 분석을 수행하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 1920~30년대 중국은 다양한 서양의 문화가 유입되던 시기였다. 이러한 사회적 배경에서 여러 교육사상이 등장하였는데 평민교육사상도 그중 하나이며 이를 바탕으로 일련의 평민음악교육 실천활동이 이루어졌다. 이 시기 평민주의와 평민교육사상에 대한 연구인 본 논문에서 우선 평민교육사상의 기원과 역사적 배경, 평민교육의 가치와 목적에 대해 살펴보고 교육내용 및 방법을 탐구하기 위해 1920~30년대 평민음악교육의 실천적 활동을 분석하였다. 여기서 활동의 주체를 단체와 개인의 활동 두 가지 측면으로 다루었으며 단체로는 평민학교, 여가학교, 음악동아리의 활동을, 개인으로는‘평민음악’을 주창한 리진후이와 류톈화를 대표 인물로 살펴보았다. 분석을 통해 본 논문은 1920~30년대 중국 평민음악교육의 전반적인 특성, 사회적 영향뿐만 아니라 문제점 및 한계를 도출시킬 수 있었다. 1920~30년대 중국 평민을 위한 음악교육의 사상과 실천은 주로 ​​음악교육의 사회적 역할 강조하고 음악교육 내용의 실용성을 반영하였다. 평민을 위한 음악교육의 실천은 평민의 오락 생활을 개선하고 중국 전통음악의 발전을 지원했으며 음악 창작 발전방향의 대중화를 촉진했다. 또한 중국 음악교육 역사상 처음으로 평민을 대상으로 한 대규모 음악교육 활동이 진행되었으며 학교 음악교육의 한계점을 효과적으로 보완해나갔다. 반면, 중국 평민음악교육이 갖는 한계점 또한 명료하였는데 첫째, 시행 방법과 형식이 단조롭고, 둘째, 완전한 음악교육 시스템이 형성되지 않았고 실제로 음악교육의 사회적 기능만 강조하고 음악교육 등의 독특한 미학 교육 특성을 반영하지 않았다는 점이다. '평민'이라는 단어의 의미도 시대에 따라 달라지기 때문에 과거를 현재의 시각으로만 바라볼 수는 없는데, 당시 정부 주도가 없는 가운데 문화교육의 평민화, 국가의 질 향상, 국민성 제고(提高)에 대한 열정으로 가득 차 있었다. 평민을 대상으로 하는 교육의 중요성을 강조한 교육자와 음악가들에 의해 추진된 1920~30년대 중국 평민음악교육의 의의는 현재 도시 지역 사회 및 농촌의 평민들을 위한 음악교육의 발전에 유용한 참고 자료를 제공한다.
