F. Chopin ≪Polonaise Brillante for Cello and Piano≫에 관한 연구 및 분석

Abstract

19세기 낭만주의 음악가로 활동한 폴란드 출생의 쇼팽(Frédéric Francois Chopin, 1810-1849)은 폴란드의 민족음악 색채를 자신의 곡에 투영시킨 애국심이 강한 피아니스트이자 작곡가이다. 유년 시절 폴란드인 어머니로부터 폴란드 민속음악에 영향을 받았으며 이는 곧 그의 음악적 양식의 중요한 요소 중 하나라고 할 수 있다.‘폴로네이즈’는 폴란드 민속음악의 종류 중 하나이며 쇼팽은 작품에 폴로네이즈를 투영시키어 작곡하였고 이러한 부분에 있어 쇼팽이 19세기 유럽 작곡가들과 차별화되는 점이다. 쇼팽은 피아노의 시인이라고 부를 만큼 다수의 피아노 작품을 작곡했으며, 그중 실내악 작품은 단 4곡이다. 그의 실내악 작품 ≪서주와 화려한 폴로네이즈 브릴란테 Op. 3≫은 ‘폴로네이즈’(Polonaise) 장르로 쇼팽이 첼로와 피아노를 위해 작곡한 작품이다. 본 연구는 쇼팽의 생애와 음악적 배경을 알아보며 이것을 통해 ≪서주와 화려한 폴로네이즈 브릴란테 Op. 3≫을 분석하여 그의 음악적 성향을 심도 있게 연구하고자 한다. ;This study is about F. Chopin ≪Polonaise Brillante for Cello and Piano Op.3≫ which are included in one of the master’s degree graduation concert program of the researcher. Frédéric Francois Chopin (1810-1849), born in Poland, was an active composer in the 19th century. F. Chopin is a well-known composer and pianist who reflected the patriotism of his nationality, Poland into his works. From the childhood, the period when he was exposed of folk music by his mother, the influence of listening to the folk music made the style, which so-called polonaise. Polonaise is a type of folk music which discriminates among the european composers. Also, F.Chopin composed significant amount of piano works and that he was called a poet. Among his works, there is four works of chamber music. The purpose of the study ≪Polonaise Brillante for Cello and Piano Op.3≫ was the first work for piano and cello. This study focuses on the melodic structures of the two different instruments of ≪Polonaise Brillante for Cello and Piano Op.3≫. Also, this study investigates how F.Chopin applies the polonaise features into his work, a brief overview of his life and the origin of the polonaise.
