베이지안 분위회귀모형을 이용한 지역별 인구수 분석

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors contributing to the dispersion of the population to rural areas through analysis of factors that affect the number of population. Significance of this study is to contribute to regional development by presenting the results of the analysis. In this paper, we used the population data by region from August 2019 to July 2020 to analyze. Even the same city/province, as there was a difference in the number of populations, a Bayesian quantile regression analysis was used to examine the influence of explanatory variables for each quantile rather than a linear regression model that explains the mean of the response variable. In addition, according to the large difference in the number of populations between Seoul Metropolitan City, the metropolitan area, and other regions, modeling by region was performed by dividing into three regions to compare the differences in the explanatory variables by region. Bayesian quantile regression analysis was used to find out the factors that are correlated with the number of population according to the quantile. As a result of the analysis, when comparing the quantile regression coefficients of regional models, it was confirmed that different patterns appeared even though they had the same positive/negative correlation according to the variables. It is hoped that the analysis results of this paper will be helpful in the fields required for regional development. ;본 연구는 인구수에 영향을 미치는 요인의 분석을 통해 지방으로의 인구 분산에 도움이 되는 요인을 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 논문에서는 2019년 8월부터 2020년 7월의 지역별 인구자료를 대상으로 분석을 수행하였다. 같은 시/도에서도 인구수의 차이가 존재함에 따라 반응 변수의 평균을 설명하는 선형회귀모형이 아닌 인구수가 상대적으로 적은 지역과 많은 지역에 대해 분위별 분포를 살펴볼 수 있는 베이지안 분위 회귀 분석을 사용하였다. 또한, 서울특별시와 수도권, 그 외 지역 간의 인구수 차이가 큼에 따라 지역별 주거지 선택 요인의 차이를 비교하고자 세 지역으로 나누어 지역별 모델링을 수행하였다. 인구수 분위에 따라 인구수와 상관이 있는 요인을 확인하고자 베이지안 분위 회귀 분석을 사용하였다. 분석 결과, 지역별 모델의 분위회귀계수를 비교하였을 때 변수에 따라 같은 양/음의 상관관계를 가지더라도 다른 패턴이 나타나는 것을 확인하였다. 본 논문의 분석 결과를 바탕으로 지역의 발전을 위해 필요한 부분을 개선시키는 것에 도움이 되기를 기대한다.
