W. A. Mozart Sonata for Violin and Piano in B♭Major K.454에 관한 연구

Abstract

볼프강 아마데우스 모차르트(Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, 1756-1791)는 음악사적으로 우아함과 감성의 시대로 알려진 고전 시대의 대표적 인물로, 전 세계에서 가장 사랑받는 음악가이다. 그는 경이적인 음악 신동으로 각광 받아 연주 여행을 기준으로 그의 삶은 유년 시기, 잘츠부르크 시기, 빈 시기로 구분된다. 이러한 연주 여행을 통해 뮌헨, 빈, 파리, 이탈리아, 런던 등 많은 나라를 여행하였고 풍요로운 음악적 교류 안에서 각 나라의 음악 양식을 습득하여 자신의 것으로 재탄생시켰으며 미사곡, 소나타, 협주곡, 교향곡, 오페라 등 600여곡이 넘는 작품을 남겼다. 본 논문은 고전 시기의 음악적 특징과 볼프강의 생애 및 음악을 이해함으로써 Sonata for Violin and Piano in B♭Major K.454의 형식과 음악적 색감, 개성에 따라 다양해지는 소리의 질, 바이올린과 피아노의 상관관계, 형식을 중심으로 분석하여 보다 성숙한 연주를 돕고자 하는 목적이 있다. Sonata for Violin and Piano in B♭Major K.454는 총 3악장의 구성으로 되어있다. 이 곡은 만토바의 훌륭한 기량을 갖춘 여성 바이올리니스트 레지나 스트리나사키(Regina Strinasacchi, 176~1836)와 함께 연주하기 위해 작곡된 곡으로, 세련된 형식구조와 중음주법을 통한 풍부한 색채 그리고 여성적인 우아함이 잘 나타나 있다. 바이올린과 피아노가 주도적인 선율을 서로 번갈아 연주하여 대응하는 흐름은 반주의 역할로 그쳤던 바이올린이 독립의 의미를 넘어 피아노와 대등해진 점에 음악사적 의의를 둘 수 있다. ;Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791), a musician loved by the whole world, was a major figure of the Classical period known for its grace and sentimentality in the history of music. Renowned as a marvelous musical genius, his life was categorized by the locations of his concert tours right from his childhood, and his days in Salzburg and Vienna. His concert tours took him to several countries like France, Italy, Germany and England. He traveled to many cities such as Munich, Vienna, Paris and London. Through the rich musical exchange during his travels, he learned the musical styles of different countries and incorporated them into his own style, thus creating over 600 works of sonata, concerto, symphony, and opera. This study aims to bring more maturity into the performance of Sonata for Violin and Piano in B♭ Major K.454 by analyzing the form, the musical color, the sound quality that varies with personality traits, and the correlation between violin and piano, among other things, through understanding the characteristics of the music in the Classical period as well as Mozart's life and music. Sonata for Violin and Piano in B♭ Major K.454 is composed of three movements. This Sonata, which Mozart specially created to perform it along with Mantua born Regina Strinasacchi (1761-1836), an accomplished female violinist, demonstrates a stylish structure, color from its double stop, and a feminine grace. The pairing of violin and piano, alternating with dominant melodies, makes the work significant in the history of music, insomuch that the violin went beyond its independence and was now on par with the piano.
