과정 중심 평가를 활용한 국악 창작 교수·학습 지도안 개발 연구

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 과정 중심 평가를 활용한 국악 창작 수업을 설계하고, 이에 대한 현장 적합성을 검증하는 것에 있다. 이를 위해 과정 중심 평가의 특징 및 유형과 국악의 음악적 특징을 살펴보고, 2015 개정 음악과 교육과정에서 제시된 성취기준에 따라 총 8차시의 수업 지도안을 개발한 후 음악 교육 전문가에게 내용 타당도와 현장 적합성을 검증받았다. 본 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본 연구를 통해 개발한 국악 창작 수업은 총 8차시로 구성되어 있으며 수업의 최종 목표는 긴·자진형식의 모양을 갖춘 육자배기토리 가락을 창작하는 것이다. 이를 위해 권덕원(2017)의 국악 창작 모형 중 장단꼴 창작 모형과 국악 선율 창작 모형을 적용하였으며, 과정 중심 평가의 유형 중 실습, 관찰, 자기평가, 동료평가, 서술, 토의, 구술, 포트폴리오를 활용하였다. 매 차시 활동지를 수합하여 마지막 차시인 8차시에는 이를 포트폴리오로 제출하여 학생 스스로 음악적 변화와 성장을 파악할 수 있도록 구성하였다. 둘째, 본 지도안은 현장 교사 3인에게 현장 적합성을 검증받아 8차시 수업을 통해 국악 창작 능력이 향상될 수 있도록 구성되어 있다는 긍정적인 평가를 받았다. 토리와 장단으로 악곡을 창작하고 표현하는 활동을 통해 학생들의 국악에 대한 흥미도와 이해도를 높일 수 있으며 감상, 표현, 생활화까지 이어지는 단계별 수업 내용을 효과적으로 구성하였다는 평을 받았다. 그러나 창작 활동이라는 학습목표를 달성하기 위한 각 차시별 수업 내용 및 학습 개념 요소가 방대하고, 각 수업 내용을 어느 정도 이해하기 위한 시간과 활동들이 다소 짧게 느껴진다는 평을 받았다. 따라서 이를 개선하기 위해 지도안의 차시를 늘리거나, 블록 수업을 통해 동일한 내용을 반복하여 학습자의 이해를 돕도록 평가하였으며 창작 활동에 더 많은 시간을 할애할 수 있도록 시간을 분배하도록 제언하였다. 본 연구는 2015 개정 음악과 교육과정에 제시된 국악 창작 수업 방안을 제시하기 위해 국악에서 나타나는 특징과 과정 중심 평가의 방법을 적용한 수업 지도안 개발하였으며, 음악교육 전문가에게 내용 타당도와 현장 적합성을 검증받은 것에 의의가 있다. 이에 본 연구를 통해 국악 창작 수업을 개발함에 도움이 되고 학생들의 국악 이해도와 경험이 넓어지길 기대한다. 또한 음악과 수업 및 과정 중심 평가의 후속 연구에 기여되길 바란다.;The purpose of this study is to design Korean traditional music composition classes using process evaluation and to assess the suitability of lesson plans. The study examined the characteristics and types of process evaluation and musical concepts of Korean traditional music, developed a total of eight lesson plans according to the 2015 revised Korean National Curriculum of music subject and described achievement standards in the curriculum. Finally, it was verified by music education experts for content validity and the suitability. The conclusions of this study are as follows. First of all, the Korean traditional music composition classes developed through this study consist of a total of eight lesson plans, and the ultimate goal of these classes is to create yukjabaegitori melodies with jangdan using gin-jajin form. For process evaluation, a portfolio of practical exercises, observations, self-assessment, peer evaluation, narration, discussion, and oral examination were utilized. From each lesson, the worksheets from lesson activities were collected and submitted. For a portfolio, students could reflect musical changes and growth on their own. Second, the lesson plans received positive evaluation that it was designed to improve the creativity of Korean traditional music by three music teachers in the field who verified the suitability throughout the eight lesson plans. These lesson plans were evaluated as being able to increase students' interest and understanding of Korean traditional music through the activities of creating and expressing music with tori and jangdan, and effectively composes the step-by-step lesson contents leading to appreciation, expression, and music in daily life. However, it was evaluated that the content of each class and the elements of the learning concept were vast to achieve the learning objectives of creative activity, and the time and activities to understand each class were somewhat shorter. Therefore, in order to improve this, the current music teachers suggested to allocate time so that the students could spend more time on creative activities, by increasing the number of lesson plans or repeating the same contents through block scheduling to help learners understand. The researcher hopes that the result of the study will help develop creative class activities for composition of Korean traditional music and broaden students' understanding and experience of it. It is also hoped that it will contribute to the follow-up research of process evaluation in music further.
