- Abstract
- Nakdong spined loach, Cobitis hankugensis, is Korean endemic freshwater fish inhabiting Nakdonggang River basin and isolated eastern river basins flowing into the East Sea of Korea. In this research, I aimed to reveal the population genetic structure of C. hankugensis across its entire habitat and the effect of C. hankugensis - I. longicorpa complex on the population genetic structure of C. hankugensis. Total 200 individuals from 20 populations were collected and 1 mitochondrial, 2 nuclear and microsatellite loci were analyzed. According to the results analyzing microsatellite and nuclear loci, 20 populations were distinguished into 6 clusters and were approximately consistent with river basins where they collected. Meanwhile, the trace of C. hankugensis – I. longicorpa was detected in the analysis using cyt b of C. hankugensis inferring the mitochondrial introgression from I. longicorpa. Additionally, cyt b of I. yongdokensis-type discovered from the analysis using cyt b suggesting the existence of the C. hankugensis- - I. yongdokensis complex.;기름종개는 낙동강 수계와 동해안 일부 독립 수계에 서식하는 한국 고유 담수어류이다.
