dc.description.abstract | We have developed the first photodonors for the trace amino neurotransmitters, β-phenylethylamine (DPSY1) and β-methylphenylethylamine (DPSY2). Our photodonors react rapidly with photosensitized singlet dioxygen (1O2) to yield the amines.
