예비음악교사의 교직 선택 동기가 교사 효능감에 미치는 영향

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of pre-service music teachers' career decision on teaching efficacy. The survey result was gathered from 125 pre-service music teachers attending teacher training institutes in Seoul and Chungcheong provinces. Gathered resources has been analyzed accordingly using the analysis of frequency method while the questions for descriptive answers were analyzed using quality data and one-way ANOVA analysis method. The results and findings of research is reported below. First, as a result of analyzing contents of pre-service music teachers on teachers’career decision, pre-service music teachers showed the most importance for intrinsic career decision. Additionally, the pre-service teachers showed the most influence on the teachers’career decision, and the pre-service teachers who were influenced by their parents showed the extrinsic motivation. Second, as a result of analyzing contents of teacher efficacy of pre-service music teachers, pre-service music teachers had overall high teaching efficacy. Especially, it showed the highest teaching efficacy in the area of music instructional guidance efficacy among subordinate scope of teacher efficacy, and showed high efficacy in the area of life guidance efficacy. Especially, the pre-service music teachers who selected the teaching profession were relatively high in life guidance efficacy. This indicates that the earlier the teacher selection, teacher efficacy is high. Third, the influence of pre-service music teachers' career decision on teaching efficacy positively influenced. Especially, the subordinate scope of altruistic motivation and intrinsic motivation have a relatively higher influence on the choice motive of teaching. In addition, the overall teachers’career decision has a higher impact on the life guidance efficacy, which is a subordinate scope of teacher efficacy. The results of this study indicate that the pre-service music teacher' career decision has an overall positive effect on teacher efficacy. Therefore, we investigated the effect of teachers’career decision on teacher efficacy on pre-service music teachers attending teacher training institutes, after becoming a teacher, I suggest some important implications to have a sense of efficacy in music instruction and life instruction at school. Through this study, I hope that music teachers' career decision more clearly, the teacher efficacy will be positively formed, and that various researches on music teacher efficacy, teaching practice method, and pre-service teacher career decision are expected.;본 연구의 목적은 예비음악교사의 교직 선택 동기가 교사 효능감에 미치는 영향을 파악하는 것이다. 이를 위해 서울시와 충청도 소재의 교원양성기관에 재학 중인 예비음악교사 125명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 연구 문제에 따라 빈도분석과 기술통계, 일원분산분석, 단순회귀분석이 실시되었다. 본 연구의 분석 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 예비음악교사의 교직 선택 동기에 대한 내용을 분석한 결과, 예비음악교사들이 교직을 선택할 때 내재적 동기에 가장 많은 비중을 두고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 예비음악교사들의 교직 선택에 가장 많이 영향을 준 인물은 부모님으로 나타났으며, 부모님의 영향을 받은 예비음악교사들은 외재적 동기가 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 예비음악교사들은 전반적으로 높은 교사 효능감을 가지고 있었다. 특히, 교사 효능감의 하위영역 중 음악교과지도 효능감 영역에서 가장 높은 효능감을 나타냈고, 생활지도 효능감 영역에서도 높은 효능감을 나타냈다. 특히, 교직을 선택한 시기가 대학교 이전인 예비음악교사들은 상대적으로 높은 생활지도 효능감을 보였다. 이러한 결과는 이른 시기에 교직을 직업으로 선택할수록 교사 효능감이 높게 나타난다는 것을 보여주는 것이다. 셋째, 예비음악교사의 교직 선택 동기는 교사 효능감에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 교직 선택 동기의 하위영역 중 이타적 동기와 내재적 동기가 상대적으로 더 높은 영향을 미쳤다. 또한, 전반적인 교직 선택 동기는 교사 효능감의 하위영역인 생활지도 효능감에 상대적으로 더 높은 영향을 미쳤다. 이러한 연구 결과는 예비음악교사의 교직 선택 동기가 교사 효능감에 전반적으로 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것을 나타내는 것이라 할 수 있다. 본 연구를 통하여 예비음악교사의 교직 선택 동기를 보다 명확하게 파악하고, 교사 효능감이 긍정적으로 형성되기를 바라며 음악교사효능감과 교육실습 방안, 예비교사의 교직 선택 동기에 대한 다양한 연구가 이루어지기를 기대한다.
