발달재활서비스 제공기관 유형에 따른 음악치료 현황 및 음악치료사의 인식

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 국내 발달재활서비스 제공기관 유형에 따른 음악치료 현황과 이에 대한 치료사의 인식을 파악하고 향후 개선점에 대해 논의하는데 있다. 본 조사연구의 참여 대상자는 발달재활서비스 내 음악치료 제공 경험이 있는 전문 음악치료사이며 설문은 온라인으로 2019년 5월 8일부터 5월 28일까지 실시하였다. 연구자는 (사)전국음악치료사협회 및 (사)한국음악치료학회 공식 전자우편을 통하여 소속 음악치료사에게 연구 안내 설명문, 연구 동의서, 설문 URL주소를 발송하였으며 총 135명의 응답이 분석되었다. 전체 참여자의 대다수에 해당되는 사설기관과 복지관 근무 응답자인 복지관 응답자 53명(39.3%), 사설기관 응답자 43명(31.9%)을 대상으로 세부적으로 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과 응답자들은 발달재활 음악치료서비스 내 표준화된 진단도구에 대한 필요성을 높게 인식하고 있었으며 양질의 음악치료 서비스를 제공하기 위해 이러한 진단도구의 개발 및 도입이 필요함을 알 수 있었다. 기관 유형별로 발달재활서비스 내 그룹 음악치료세션 참여자 수에 대한 인식이 다르게 나타났는데, 다양한 진단군과 기능 상태에 맞는 효과적인 음악치료를 위해 적은 인원이 보다 적합하다고 인식하고 있었으며 이는 그룹치료의 효과적 진행을 위한 전략이 필요함도 시사한다. 발달재활서비스 내 사례회의에서 전문가 간 팀 협력은 최상의 치료 결과를 이끌 수 있기에 사례회의 활용의 필요와 협력세션의 활성화에 대한 탐구가 필요함도 논의되었다. 본 연구는 발달재활서비스 내 제공기관 유형에 따른 음악치료 현황 및 개선점에 대한 치료사의 인식을 알아본 것으로 이를 반영하여 발달재활서비스 내 음악치료의 발전을 도모하는데 기여할 수 있는 기초자료를 제시하였다는데 의의가 있다. ;The purpose of this study is to investigate the current status of music therapy practice in the Developmental Rehabilitation Services (DRS) and perception of the practice among Korean music therapists in order to discuss future improvements. Participants in this study were professional music therapists with experience in providing music therapy service as a part of the DRS program. The survey was conducted online from May 8 to May 28, 2019. The study found that the participants provide music therapy services to children with intellectual disabilities, autism and speech disorders in private institutions, welfare centers, schools and hospitals. Since the majority of the participants worked in private institutions and welfare centers, the following analysis compared the results according to the two types of settings. According to the analysis, participants expressed a strong need for development of proper assessment tools specially designed for the DRS service users. Regarding the appropriateness of group sizes, participants expressed that the group sizes need to be managed more properly in order to improve the therapeutic outcomes. In addition, inter-disciplinary co-treatment is more frequently discussed in private institutions than in welfare centers, suggesting the need for further development of such co-treatment programs. The current study is meaningful in that it presents a meaningful portrait of the current status of music therapy in the DRS and make valid recommendations for future music therapy services based on the opinions shared by the professional music therapists.
