중학교 현대 음악 감상 지도 방안 연구

Abstract

This study aim is to develop contemporary music appreciation instruction methods for middle school students. So, I have developed appreciation teaching and learning instruction guides and materials based on Olivier Messiaen<La Nativite Seigneur>, <Catalogue d'oiseaux>, <Saint François d’ Assise>. After 'The 2009 Music Curriculum, the importance of music appreciation has been stated. One of the goals of middle school music isunderstanding its characteristics in light of its historical and cultural background education (Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, 2012). The current trend in music education is emphasizing exposure of various music and appreciation of music from various periods including the contemporary music. Therefor, the developing of contemporary instruction is very important. We have to understand contemporary musics because we live in the present age. Music is not simple sound, but something having spirit and culture of the present. Social trend is changing rapidly. Music is also changing rapidly. Studying contemporary music is considered highly musical experience and wide ranging music techniques. It provides middle school students fine opportunities understanding the present age musical trend as well as comprehending better our society. This study is developed for 'contemporary music instruction methods' and has 'contemporary music appreciation teaching and learning instruction guides and materials' for Oliver Messiaen and his music as the subject. Oliver Messiaen is the representative composers of France contemporary music in the current 20. His work will be helped for students to understand the 20th century France music. I have developed my 'Teaching And learning instruction guides' on <La Nativite Seigneur> <Catalogued' oiseaux>, <Saint François d’ Assise>. Because we can see the differenceof Oliver Messiaen’s technique and form from that used in. I have also judged them <La Nativite Seigneur> <Catalogue d'oiseaux>, <Saint François d’ Assise>. The procedures are as follows. First of all, before establishing a ‘teaching and learning instruction guide’, I studied ‘Technique de mon language musical’ by Messiaen and I have studied the importance on contemporary music appreciation. Then I have analyzed contents of ‘The 2015 Revised Middle School Music Curriculum’ I make also middle schoolmusic textbook analysis of looking into how the current textbooks employ Oliver Messiaen and his music. Next, after having considered Oliver Messiaen’s life and his tendency of work, I analyzed <La Nativite Seigneur> <Catalogue d'oiseaux>, <Saint François d’ Assise>. and developed six class teaching and learning instruction guides and class materials. The first piece is <La Nativite Seigneur> for Organ that it is focused on external aspects of his works, for understanding of Oliver Messiaen's life and musical tendency, and the compositional background of the piece, with Messiaen’s musical factors of the piece. The second class is focused on the functional srtucture of Organ and Messiaen’s musical factors of the piece. The third class is focused on introducing Messiaen's piece, <Catalogue d'oiseaux>for piano and learning internal aspects of his composition methods and format. The forth class is focused on comparative listening with others music pieces including Hyden and Vivaldi. The fifth class is focused on introducing its story and character of character by Opera <Saint François d’ Assise>with big orchestra. The last class is focused on Messiaen’s composition method based on his writing, [The Technique Of My Music]. According to reviews of the class, students answered that learning and listening Oliver Messiaen’s works in music class helped to understand his life and musical tendency. Some students felt repulsion toward Messiaen's works due to its unfamiliar tune. However, they showed great interest in his works by learning about his new and different composition method. On-site applicability of these 'teaching and earning instruction guides' were verified through conducted surveys on a teacher currently working in Seoul. The survey constructed in ten selection type questions for content validity and on-site applicability. The survey included two descriptive questions for assessing positive, negative aspects and propose points for improvement. The assessment of teacher regarding the developed 'teaching and learning instruction guides' and 'class material' were positive and the conclusion was considered that it could be used in effective tools for contemporary music education at school on-sites. I expect these 'The teaching and learning material' developed through this study will be used effectively at actual school education on-sites, and enhance student's interest in contemporary music.;본 연구는 중학생들을 위한 현대음악 감상 교수·학습 지도안과 학습 자료로써 학생들에게는 현대 음악에 대한 다양한 경험과 올바른 이해 그리고 현대음악에 사용되는 새로운 악기에 대한 소리탐색의 기회를 제공하고 교사들에게는 다양한 교수·학습 자료들을 제공하기 개발된 것이다. 이를 위하여 프랑스 현대 음악의 대표적인 작곡가 올리비아 메시앙(Oliver Messiaen 1908. 12. 10~ 1992. 4. 27)을 선정하고 그의 대표작 오르간 곡을 위한 작품<그리스도의 탄생 La Nativite Seigneur, 1935>과 피아노를 위한 작품 <새의 카달로그 Catalogue d'oiseaux, 1956>, 그리고 오케스트라 반주의 성악곡 <아씨시의 성 프란치스코 Saint François d’ Assise, 1975>를 제재곡으로 하여 지도안에 소개함으로써 다각적인 음악적 시각을 갖도록 돕는데 그 목적이 있다. 올리비아 메시앙(Olivier Messiaen, 1908 ∼1992)은 프랑스를 대표하는 현대음악 작곡가이다. 본 연구는 프랑스의 대표적인 현대 음악가 메시앙을 심도 있게 연구하여 학생들에게 소개하고 다양한 음악 세계를 경험하게 함으로써 음악적 안목을 넓히는데 도움을 주고자 한다. 연구 절차는, 현대 음악 작곡가 메시앙의 생애와 작품 경향 그리고 구채적인 그의 작품들을 소개하는 교수·학습 지도 방안을 개발하기 위하여 먼저 2015 개정 교육과정에 맞춘 중학교 음악 교과서 14 종류의 현대음악 수록 부분을 분류하여 분석하였다.다음으로 작곡자의 생애와 작품 성향, 제재곡에 대한 분석을 실시하고 2015 개정 교육과정을 토대로 교수·학습 지도안을 개발 하였다. 개발된 교수·학습자료 및 활동 자료들을 음악교육 전문가 집단에게 검증 받았고 내용 타당도와 현장 수업의 활용 가능성을 검증 받았다. 그렇게 검증 된 교수·학습 자료 및 활동 자료들을 실제 수업에 적용하고 교사와 학습자에게 인터뷰로 후기를 받아 그것을 최종 분석하였다.지도안은 총 6차시로 구성 되었다. 1차시에는 메시앙의 오르간 곡<그리스도의 탄생 La Nativite Seigneur, 1935>을 소개 하고 작곡자의 생애와 작품배경 그리고 시대적 배경을 소개 하였다. 2차시에는 1차시 수업의 심화수업으로 메시앙 음악의 특징과 제재곡 <그리스도의 탄생 La Nativite Seigneur, 1935>의 연주 악기인 오르간의 기능과 구조, 그리고 음색 등을 알아보고 3차시에는 새들의 실제소리를 같은 음역대에서 묘사하고 있는 메시앙의 피아노를 위한 작품<새의 카달로그 Catalogue d'oiseaux, 1956>를 소개하고, 4차시에는 심화 학습으로 <새의 카달로그 Catalogue d'oiseaux, 1956>에 쓰인 조성체계와 리듬적 특징을 알아본다. 5차시에는 그의 오페라 <아씨시의 성 프란치스코 Saint François d’ Assise, 1975>를 소개하며 곡의 줄거리와 특징을 설명하고 마지막 6차시에는 메시앙의 오페라에 나타난 메시앙의 음악 어법을 정리하였다. 조사 결과에 따르면 학생들은 현대 음악을 처음 접해보았다고 하며 다양한 반응들을 보였다. 본 연구의 교수·학습 지도안과 학습 자료에 대한 현장 교사의 평가는 긍정적이었으며, 학교 현장에서의 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것으로 평가 하였다. 본 연구를 통해 개발된 교수·학습 자료가 실제 교육현장에서 유용하게 활용되기를 바라며, 다양한 교수 학습 지도 방안의 연구와 수업자료의 개발로 학생들이 폭넓은 음악적 세계를 경험하기를 기대한다.
