사랑받지 못한다는 것

Abstract

본 논문은 외로움이라는 감정의 이름으로 모든 일상을 지배하던 연구자의 오래된 상처에 대한 고찰을 담은 논고이다 처음 연구자에게 외로움은 그저 이유 없는 감정이었다 그러나 이것은 때때로 혼자됨에 대한 공포로 그 모습을 바꾸었고 타인의 시선에 대한 절대적이고 순종적인 태도로 나아가 사랑받지 못한다는 것에 대한 막연한 두려움으로 변화하였다 주체적 삶에 대한 공허함과 스스로에 대한 무력감으로까지 번져버린 감정의 끝에선 연구자는, 용기를 내어 묻어두었던 희미한 상처의 장면을 마주하기로 했다 본 연구는 연구자가 이러한 어렴풋한 상처의 존재를 인식하면서 시작된다. 본고에서는 먼저 오래되고 희미한 상처를 이해하고 이를 선명하게 하기위해 정신분석학자 지그문트 프로이트(Sigmund Freud)의 트라우마 이론을 연구하였다 이는 외로움이라는 연구자의 감정이 이유 모 . 를 것이 아닌 원인을 가진 트라우마적 증상이며, 이 증상은 곧 과거의 상처로 인한 것임을 밝히는 근거가 되어주었다 이. 어서 연구자는 상처에 대한 보다 더 다의적인 해석을 위하여 상처가 지닌 생산적인 힘의 기능을 질 들뢰즈(Gilles Deleze)의 욕망이론 안에서 발견해 보았다 이를 통해 성장의 동력으로서 우리의 내재적 장 안에서 끊임없이 작동하는 상처의 생산적인 면모를 발견하고 나아가 이것이 우리의 주체적인 삶의 장을 마련해주는 힘으로서 작용할 수 있다는 가능성을 알게 되었다. 또한 연구를 진행하면서 연구자는 삶을 지배하고 있던 감정과 과거의 상처를 해석한다는 것은 결국 자신의 내면과 마주하는 것임을 깨달았다 이러한 내면과의 마주침은 예술이라는 매개를 통할 때 가장 효과적으로 표현된다 이에 연구자는 인간의 내면을 각기 다른 방법으로 표현한 예술가들의 작품을 살펴보았다 그. 들의 작품을 살펴봄으로서 상처 난 내면을 솔직하게 마주하는 방법, 그리고 꺼내진 내적 세계를 타인과 함께 감각하는 방법에 대해 알아볼 수 있었다 외로움이라는 감정을 계속해서 떠올리고 아픈 기억들을 의식 위로 꺼내어 상처 난 스스로를 마주하며 표현해낸 연구자의 작업들 또한 비단 감정 표현에 그치는 것이 아닌, 예술이라는 매개를 통한 연구자 스스로의 내면에 대한 탐구 과정이다 그러므로 연구자의 작업들은 연구자가 상처를 발견하고 마주하고, 진정으로 이해하며 이를 바깥으로 표현해내는 본고 전체의 흐름과 같이 진행되었다. 외로움의 원인을 발견하고 더 나은 삶을 기대하기 위해 계속해서 상처를 마주하는 과정은 거짓 없이 아픈 것이었다 그러나 연구를 통해 연구자의 삶에서 앞으로 계속될 아픔이나 외로움 등을 그저 없어져야할 해결되어야 할 문제로만 바라보기 보다는 연구자 내면에 존재하는 생산적인 힘으로서 보다 긍정적으로 바라볼 수 있게 되었다는 점에 의의를 두고자 한다;This study contains researcher’s old scar; an emotional state or the loneliness has dominated her every day life. At first, the loneliness was just a groundless emotion. However, it would be transformed into a horror of being left alone, and then, into an absolutely obedient attitude towards others’ eyes, and further into a groundless fear for not being loved. The researcher would feel a sense of emptiness for the life, being helpless, and after all, the researcher would get up the nerve to face the dim scene of the scar. This study starts from researcher’s recognition of the dim scar. In order to understand and make clear the old and dim scar, this study reviewed the psycho analyst Sigmund Freud’s ‘trauma theory’. Thus, the researcher confirmed that the sense of loneliness is not grounded but a symptom of the grounded trauma, and that such symptom would attribute to the past scar. In order to interpret the scar polysemously, the researcher endeavored to find the productive force of the scar in Gilles Deleze’s desire theory. Thus, the researcher has found that the scar would continue to work as an engine of power in her immanent arena, and thus, has known that it could act as a force enabling us to arrange a subjective arena of life. In addition, the researcher would be aware that interpreting the emotion and past scar both dominating her life would be equated with facing her immanence. Such facing of the immanence would be expressed most effectively through the medium ‘art’. Thus, the researcher would review artists’ works expressing the human immanence in different ways. Thus, the researcher could find the ways to face the hurt immanence honestly and sense the immanent world with others. The researcher’s works that bring memories of the emotion of loneliness and face the old scars are not just the expression of the emotion, but the exploration of researcher’s immanence. Hence, researcher’s works started from discovering, facing and understanding her old scar and ended up with the expression. Discovering the causes for loneliness and facing the old scar in expectation of a better life were really painful. However, this study may well be significant in that it regards researcher’s pain or loneliness not as the states to be surmounted or resolved but as the productive or positive force immanent inside the researcher.
