세마치장단과 3박 리듬에 대한 정서반응 비교

Abstract

본 연구는 세마치장단과 3박 리듬에 대한 정서반응을 비교하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 연구 대상자는 대학기관에 재학 중인 일반 성인으로 총 103명이 참여하였다. 대상자는 장조-세마치장단, 장조-3박 리듬, 단조-세마치장단, 단조-3박 리듬, 총 4가지의 음원을 듣고 '정적이다-역동적이다', '이완된다-각성된다', '선호하지 않는다-선호한다', '새롭다-익숙하다' 항목에서 알맞다고 생각되는 숫자에 표기하였다. 이에 대한 결과분석으로 세마치장단에 대한 정서반응을 조성과 음악전공배경에 따라 분석했으며 3박 리듬에 대한 정서반응을 조성과 음악전공배경에 따라 분석하였다. 또한 세마치장단과 3박 리듬 간 정서반응을 조성과 음악전공배경에 따라 분석하였다. 세마치장단과 3박 리듬에 대한 정서반응을 알아본 결과, 대상자들은 조성과 상관없이 역동성, 각성에서 세마치장단을 더 높게 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 이러한 반응은 조성과 무관하게 공통적인 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 선호도에서는 음악전공자만 세마치장단을 더 선호했으며 이러한 반응은 조성과 무관함을 알 수 있었다. 세마치장단에 대한 정서반응에서 대상자들은 단조보다 장조 세마치장단에서 더 높은 친숙도와 선호도를 인식하였으며 3박 리듬에서도 이와 동일한 반응을 보였다. 3박 리듬에 대한 정서반응을 음악전공여부에 따라 분석한 결과, 음악전공자가 비전공자에 비해 더 높은 각성수준을 인식하는 것으로 나타났으며 특히 단조에서 음악전공여부에 따른 차이가 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 추후 리듬의 특성에 따른 정서반응을 이해하는데 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다.;The purpose of this study was to compare emotional reactions to the Semachi jangdan andn the triple meter for general adult. The participants were total of 103 and ages ranged from 20s to 50s. The participants were asked to report the number on how they feel about the four sound sources, 'Major-Semachi jangdan', 'Major–triple meter', 'minor–Semachi jangdan', and 'minor–triple meter' to the emotional reactions, such as 'static-dynamic', 'relaxed-aroused', 'nonprefer-prefer', 'new-familiar'. The results were analyzed by the different rhythms and jangdans of the same melody and the personal characteristics, such as musical background. The analysis of the emorional reactions to Semachi jandan and triple meter showed that subjects perceived the Semachi jandan more highly in dynamic and arousal. Also, this reaction appeared the same regardless of the Major and minor. On the other hand, music majors only prefer Semachi jangdan in the same way in both Major and minor. Regarding to the emotional reactions to the Semachi jangdan, subjects recognized a higher level of familiarity and preference in Major-Semachi jangdan than minor Semachi jangdan. Also, the same reaction appeared in the triple rhythm. According to the reactions to the triple meter by music major status, the music major showed a higher level of arousal. Also, there was the biggest difference in the arousal in minor-triple meter. Based on these results, this study aims to provide basic data to understand the emotional responses according to the rhythmic structures.
