학문 목적 학습자를 위한 한국어 토론 수업 구성 연구

Abstract

이 연구의 목적은 학문 목적 학습자를 위한 한국어 말하기 토론 수업을 구성하는 것이다. 이를 위해 현재 학문 목적 말하기 교재의 토론 활동에서 제시된 논제와 토론 전, 토론, 토론 후 단계의 수업 구성이 어떻게 이루어지고 있는지 살펴보았다. 또한 교재에서 살펴본 논제들을 통해 학문 목적 학습자에게 교육되기에 적합 하다고 여겨지는 최종 논제를 선정하고 이를 통해 수업 구성의 실제를 제시하였다. 1장에서는 이 연구의 목적 및 필요성을 밝히고 토론 수업 구성과 논제 선정 관련 선행 연구를 검토하였다. 그 결과 토론 수업 구성 관련 연구는 다양한 관점에 서 많은 논의가 이어지고 있는 데 비해 토론 논제 선정과 관련된 논제는 상대적으로 연구가 부족함을 알 수 있었다. 2장에서는 학문 목적 한국어 말하기 교육에서의 토론이라는 시각을 통해 토론 의 개념과 특징, 학문적 토론의 의의 및 필요성에 대해 전반적인 이론을 살펴보고 토론 수업 구성에서 논제 선정과 수업 모형에 대하여 알아보았다. 3장에서는 학문 목적 말하기 교재 중 토론 활동에서 제시된 논제를 3가지 기준 에 따라 분석하고 토론 전, 토론, 토론 후 단계의 수업 구성에 대하여 살펴보았다. 4장에서는 기준에 따라 분석한 논제들 중 학문 목적 학습자에게 교육되기에 가장 적합하다고 판단되는 최종 논제를 정하여 토론 수업의 실제를 제시하였다. 이상의 연구 과정을 통해 이 연구는 한국어 교육에서 토론 논제 선정과 관련된 연구가 더욱 더 활발하게 이루어져야 할 필요성이 있는 만큼 토론 활동 중 특히 논제 선정에 집중하여 한국어 말하기 교재에서 다루고 있는 논제를 유형별, 소주 제, 적절성 등을 기준으로 교육적 가치가 있는 논제를 선정하고자 하였다는 데 의의가 있다. 이에 이 연구가 학문 목적 학습자를 위한 한국어 말하기 토론 수업에 도움이 되길 기대한다.;The purpose of this study is to construct a Korean debate class for academic learners. To do this, the topics presented in the discussion activity of the current academic speaking textbook are examined and the classroom structure before, during and after debates are looked into. In addition, the final topic, which is deemed to be appropriate for the academic learner, is selected among the topics discussed in the textbook and the actual structure of the class is presented. In Chapter 1, the purpose and necessity of this study are defined, and previous studies related to the structure of the debate class and topic selection are reviewed. As a result, research on the structure of debate classes continues to be greatly discussed from various perspectives. In comparison, the issues related to the selection of debate topics are found to be relatively insufficient. In Chapter 2, the general theory of the concepts and characteristics of debates, the significance and necessity of academic debates, and the topic selection and lesson model in debate classes are explored through the viewpoint of debates in Korean speaking education for academic purposes. In Chapter 3, the thesis presented in the debate activities is analyzed based on three criteria and the structure of the class before, during, and after debates are looked into. In Chapter 4, the actual practice of debate was presented by selecting the final topic that is most suitable for academic learners among the topics analyzed according to a standard. Through these processes, a research that is more actively involved in the selection of discussion topics in the Korean language education is found necessary. Therefore, it is meaningful to focus on the selection of topic for debate activities, and to select topics that have educational values based on type, subcategory, appropriateness, etc. among the topics covered in existing Korean speaking textbooks. This study is expected to help students learn Korean speaking and debate classes for academic purposes.
