노인요양시설 간호사의 케어 로봇에 대한 인식

Abstract

제4차 산업혁명을 맞아 로봇 기술이 여러 의료 영역에서 사용되고 있으며, 케어 로봇의 활용이 고령화로 인한 노인의 부양 부담 증가와 노인요양시설 인력 부족 등으로 인한 업무 부담을 해결하는 하나의 방안으로 고려되고 있다. 본 연구는 실제 케어 로봇을 활용할 노인요양시설에 근무하는 간호사의 케어 로봇에 대한 인식을 조사하기 위해 시행된 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구대상자는 노인장기요양보험법에 근거하여 시설 급여를 제공하는 노인요양시설에서 6개월 이상 근무한 간호사 106명을 편의 표집하였다. 본 연구에서 케어 로봇에 대한 인식은 주요 간호 보조 업무에서의 케어 로봇에 대한 활용 가능성과 효율성을 측정하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS/WIN 24.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffé’s test로 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 대상자는 총 106명으로, 평균 연령은 48.82±8.38세였으며, 여성이 99.1%이었다. 대상자의 총 임상경력은 평균 196.98±99.79개월, 노인요양시설 재직기간은 평균 64.93±53.24개월로, 5년 미만의 대상자가 64.2%이었다. 2. 대상자의 46.2%가 케어 로봇 도입이 필요하다고 하였으며, 59.4%가 케어 로봇에 대한 정보 경험이 있었고, 11.3%가 케어 로봇에 대한 교육 경험이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 케어 로봇 도입 시 필요한 지원으로는 ‘케어 로봇에 대한 간호사 체험 활동 강화’가 60.4%로 가장 많았으며, ‘시설 및 기구 지원’ 59.4%, ‘간호사용 케어 로봇 활용 자료 및 교재 개발’ 47.2% 순으로 나타났다. 3. 대상자의 케어 로봇 대한 인식은 활용 가능성 측면에서 5점 만점에 3.32±0.60점, 효율성 측면에서 5점 만점에 3.32±0.61점이었다. 활용 가능성 측면에서 모니터링을 통한 알람 4.10±0.87점, 키, 몸무게 측정 3.96±0.89점, 활력징후 측정 3.91±0.94점, 효율성 측면에서 모니터링을 통한 알람 4.08±0.82점, 키, 몸무게 측정 3.99±0.82점, 활력징후 측정 3.86±0.98점 순으로 높게 나타났다. 활용 가능성 및 효율성 측면 모두에서 모니터링을 통한 알람, 키, 몸무게 측정, 활력징후 측정을 포함한 측정 및 모니터링 영역의 점수가 높게 나타났다. 4. 본 연구에서 대상자의 케어 로봇에 대한 정보 경험(t=2.658, p=.009)에 따라 케어 로봇에 대한 인식이 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 케어 로봇에 대한 정보 경험이 없는 대상자에 비해 케어 로봇에 대한 정보 경험이 있는 대상자의 케어 로봇에 대한 인식 점수가 높게 나타났다. 본 연구에서 노인요양시설 간호사는 케어 로봇의 도입이 필요하며, 간호 업무에서 케어 로봇의 활용 가능성과 효율성이 높은 편이라고 인식하였다. 특히 측정 및 모니터링 영역의 측면에서 케어 로봇의 활용 가능성이 더 크고 효율적일 것이라고 보았다. 따라서 케어 로봇 개발 시 이러한 간호사의 의견을 반영하여야 하며, 케어 로봇의 도입 및 활용에 앞서 케어 로봇에 대한 간호사의 체험 활동과 케어 로봇에 대한 시설 및 기구 지원이 필요하다. 본 연구는 효율적으로 간호 업무 부담을 줄이고 간호의 질 향상에 기여하기 위한 케어 로봇의 도입 및 활용에 필요한 기초자료가 될 것이다. ;The purpose of the study was to identify the perceptions of nurses in long-term care facilities on care robots. A descriptive study design was adopted. The participants of the study were 106 nurses who worked at the long-term care facility for more than 6 months. Data was collected after approval by Institutional Review Board. The perceptions of care robots using questionnaires measured the availability and efficiency of care robots in major nursing care tasks. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA and Scheffé's test using SPSS/WIN 24.0 program. The results of this study are as follows: 1. Among the participants, 46.2% said they needed the introduction of care robots, 59.4% had heard about care robots, and 11.3% had educational experience with care robots. As for the support needed for the introduction of care robots, 60.4% of the participants said that they intend to enhance nursing experience activities for care robots, 59.4% for facilities and devices, and 47.2% for development of the materials and textbook for utilizing care robots for nurses. 2. The perceptions of care robots by the participants was 3.32±0.60(out of 5 points) from the view of availability and 3.32±0.61(out of 5 points) from the view of efficiency. In terms of availability, the participants reported the following scores: 4.10±0.87 for the alarm setting, 3.96±0.89 for the weight and height, 3.91±0.94 for the vital signs. In terms of efficiency, the participants reported the following scores: 4.08±0.82 for the alarm setting, 3.99±0.82 for the weight and height, and 3.86±0.98 for vital signs. Measurement and monitoring areas, including alarm setting, weight, height and vital signs measurements, were found to be high in terms of both availability and efficiency. 3. The perceptions of care robots according to the experiences with care robots (t=2.658, p=.009) showed a statistically significant difference. The perception score of the participants who had heard about care robots was higher compared with those who had not heard about care robots. In this study, nurses in long-term care facilities said that care robots are needed; they perceived that care robots are available and efficient in nursing care. Especially, in view of measurement and monitoring, the use of care robots will offer high availability and efficiency. It is necessary to reflect the opinions of nurses in the development of care robots, and to support the nurses' experience of care robots and the facilities and devices for care robots prior to the introduction and utilization of care robots. This study provides the basic data necessary to introduce and utilize care robots, which can reduce the burden of nursing work efficiently and contribute to the improvement of nursing care quality.
