Abstract

본 논문은 석사과정을 이수하기 위한 졸업연주회 프로그램에 관한 연구이다. 작곡가 헨델(Georg, Friedrich Händel, 1685-1759), 글린카(Mikhail Ivanovich Glinka, 1804-1857), 포레(Gabriel Urbain Fauré, 1845-1924)의 생애와 시대적 배경, 주요한 음악적 특징들을 연구함으로써 곡에 대한 이해도를 높이고 실제 연주 시 연주자에게 도움을 주는 것을 목적으로 한다. 헨델은 바로크 시대를 대표하는 작곡가로 특히 오페라와 오라토리오 분야의 거장으로 알려져 있다. 본 논문에서는 헨델의 생애를 오페라와 오라토리오 작품활동 중심으로 살펴보았고, 바로크 시대의 배경과 음악적 특징들을 살펴보았다. 또한 하나님에 대한 찬미를 주제로 한 그의 작품《9개의 독일 아리아 (Neun deutsche Arien)》 중 제 6곡인 〈나의 영혼이 들으며 본다 (Meine Seele hört im Sehen)〉를 통하여 헨델이 이 작품에서 사용한 바로크 시대의 대표적인 음악적 특징들을 알아보았다. 글린카는 러시아 국민주의 음악의 대표적인 작곡가로 자국의 민속적인 소재를 음악에서 사용함으로써 국민주의적 특징을 나타냈다. 본 논문에서는 글린카의 생애와 작품 경향을 살펴보았으며 글린카의 가곡 〈나는 기적적인 순간을 기억한다네 (Я помню чудное мгновенье)〉, 〈뱃노래 (Баркарола)〉, 〈아델 (Адепь)〉을 통하여 글린카의 음악적 특징과 가사를 음악에서 어떻게 표현하였는지를 살펴보았다. 포레는 19세기 말 프랑스의 예술가곡을 구현한 대표적인 작곡가이다. 본 논문에서는 포레의 생애를 살펴보고 그의 가곡 특징을 작곡 연도에 따라 초기, 중기, 후기로 나누어 살펴보았다. 또한 포레 후기의 대표적 작품인 연가곡《이브의 노래 (La Chanson d′Eve, Op.95)》중 제 1곡 〈천국 (Paradis)〉, 제 5곡 〈하얀 여명 (L′aube blanche)〉, 제 10곡 〈오 죽음, 별들의 먼지여 (Ô mort, poussière d′étoiles)〉을 통하여 포레의 후기 가곡 특징을 알아보았다.;This paper investigates the life of the composers, the periodic background and the musical characters by studying a relation between poems and melodies and the musical expression to support performer who performs this pieces. Händel(Georg, Friedrich Händel, 1685-1759) was a representative opera and oratorio composer of the baroque period. The study examines his life, focusing the works of opera and oratorio, the baroque music’s background and the musical feature.《Neun deutsche Arien》is composed of the nine arias which has the theme, a praise of God. Especially, at his sixth song 〈Meine Seele hört im Sehen〉 he used the style of Obligato and Da Capo Aria, the representative musical features of the Baroque era. Glinka(Mikhail Ivanovich Glinka, 1804-1857) was belonged in the 19 century Russian Nationalist school, used the national musical material to represent the character of Nationalist school′s music. This paper looks into the his life and tendency of works by studying 〈Я помню чудное мгновенье〉, 〈Баркарола〉, 〈Адепь〉 and examines how he expresses the musical characteristics and lyric in his music. Also, these songs showed Russia's nationalistic tones. Fauré(Gabriel Urbain Fauré, 1845-1924) embodied traditional Franch mélodie in the late 19 century. The study researches his life and discusses his three periods. This paper deals with the songs, the first song 〈Paradis〉, the fifth song 〈L′aube blanche〉, the tenth song 〈Ô mort, poussière d′étoiles〉 and reveals the features of his late periods, which are an ambiguity of tonality and declamatory style.
