Abstract

본 논문은 본인의 석사과정 졸업연주 프로그램인 F. J. Haydn의 ⌜Piano Sonata No.38, Hob. XVI:23⌟, L. v. Beethoven의 ⌜Piano Sonata No.24, Op.78⌟, E. Grieg의 ⌜6 Lyric Pieces, Op.54 中 1. Shepherd Boy, 4. Notturno⌟, E. Grieg의 ⌜Piano Sonata Op.7⌟, S. Prokofiev의 ⌜Sarcasms, Op.17⌟에 대한 연구이다. 하이든(Franz Joseph Haydn, 1732-1809)은 총 52곡의 피아노 소나타를 작곡하였다. 그가 작곡한 52개의 피아노 소나타 중 ⌜Piano Sonata No.38, Hob. XVI:23⌟은 1773년에 작곡된 것으로, 하이든의 중기 소나타 전반부 작품에 해당된다. 전체 3악장 구성으로 제1악장은 C장조의 소나타 형식, 제2악장은 f단조의 2부분 형식, 제3악장은 F장조의 소나타 형식이다. 베토벤(Ludwig van Beethoven, 1770-1827)은 총 32곡의 피아노 소나타를 작곡하였는데, ⌜Piano Sonata No.24, Op.78⌟은 베토벤의 중기 작품으로 1809년에 작곡되었다. 전체 2악장으로 구성되며, 자유로운 소나타 형식의 제1악장은 아기자기하고 사랑스러운 선율이 인상적이며, 론도형식인 제2악장은 스케르초풍의 경쾌하고 익살스러운 리듬이 특징적이다. 그리그(Edvard Hagerup Grieg, 1843-1907)는 19세기 노르웨이를 대표하는 민족주의 작곡가이다. 그리그는 서정소곡이라 불리는 ‘Lyric Pieces’를 작곡했는데 그 중 하나인 ⌜6 Lyric Pieces, Op.54⌟는 1891년에 작곡되었고, 총 6곡으로 이루어져 있다. 그 중 ⌜1. Shepherd Boy⌟와 ⌜4. Notturno⌟는 A-B-A' 형식의 서정적인 선율이 인상적인 곡들이다. 또한, 그리그의 ⌜Piano Sonata Op.7⌟은 그리그의 유일무이한 피아노 소나타이며, 총 4악장으로 구성되어 있다. 제1악장은 소나타 형식, 제2악장은 A-B-A'형식, 제3악장은 미뉴에트-트리오-미뉴에트의 복합3부형식, 제4악장은 소나타 형식이다. 프로코피에프(Sergei Prokofiev, 1891-1953)는 20세기의 피아노 음악사에 많은 영향을 끼친 작곡가이다. ⌜Sarcasms, Op.17⌟는 프로코피에프의 초기에 쓰인 작품으로 총 5곡으로 이루어져 있고, 프로코피에프의 고전적 요소, 현대적 요소, 토카타적 요소, 서정적 요소, 해학적 요소들이 잘 표현된 곡이다.;The purpose of this thesis is to examine pieces performed at the author's graduation recital for the master's degree. The musical works are F. J. Haydn 「Piano Sonata No.38, Hob. XVI:23」, L. v. Beethoven 「Piano Sonata No.24, Op.78⌟, E. Grieg ⌜6 Lyric Pieces, Op.54 in 1. Shepherd Boy, 4. Notturno⌟, E. Grieg 「Piano Sonata Op.7⌟, and S. Prokofiev 「Sarcasms Op.17」. Haydn (Franz Joseph Haydn, 1732-1809) composed 52 piano sonatas during his life. 「Piano Sonata No.38, Hob. XVI:23⌟, composed in 1773, belongs to sonatas in Haydn's middle period. It consists of three movements: The first movement in C major is cast in sonata form; the second movement in f minor is in two-part form, and the third movement in F major is written in sonata form. Beethoven (Ludwig van Beethoven, 1770-1827) is a representative composer of the Classical period. He wrote 32 piano sonatas. 「Piano Sonata No.24, Op.78」, written in 1809, is a sonata in the middle period. It consists of two movements. The first movement, in the form of a free sonata-allegro form, is characterized by a charming and lovely melody. And, the second movement is a rondo in the style of scherzo. Grieg (Edvard Hagerup Grieg, 1843-1907) is a composer representing the Norwegian nationalism in the second half of the 19th century. He composed 「Lyric Pieces, Op.54」 in 1891, and it consists of six pieces. Among them, ⌜1. Shepherd Boy⌟ and ⌜4. Notturno⌟ are both in A-B-A' form with lyrical melodies. And, 「Piano Sonata Op.7⌟ is the Grieg's only piano sonata. It consists of four movements. The first movement is written in sonata form, the second movement in A-B-A' form, the third movement in a complex three-part form (minuet-trio-minuet), and the fourth movement in sonata form. Prokofiev (Sergei Prokofiev, 1891-1953) is a Russian composer who had a great influence on the 20th-century piano music. ⌜Sarcasms Op.17」composed in 1914, is Prokofiev's early piano work. It consists of five pieces. It is a good example to show Prokofiev's musical traits; The Classical, modern, toccata, lyrical, and grotesque elements.
