이승훈 시에 나타난 탈근대적 주체 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 이승훈 시에 나타난 탈근대적 주체의 양상을 살펴보고자 했다. 이를 위하여 자크 데리다와 줄리아 크리스테바의 타자와 언어에 관한 주체이론을 연구 방법론으로 사용하였다. 세부적으로는 타자 인식 과정과 주체화의 실패, 새로운 언어관 수용과 탈근대적 주체의 구성, 주체 구성 실험을 통한 의미 확장의 구현이라는 세 가지 측면에서 이승훈의 시를 분석하였다. 우선 Ⅱ장에서는 이승훈 시의 주체가 타자 인식, 타자와의 상호작용으로 인하여 단일하고 동일한 근대적 주체로의 주체화에 실패하는 과정을 살펴보았다. 이승훈 시에서 주체는 ‘절대적 타자’의 등장으로 인하여 존재론적 변화를 겪게 되고 이후 타자에 대한 무조건적인 ‘환대’를 시도하지만 실패하게 된다. 또한 주체는 ‘모성적 코라’의 회귀로 인하여 존재론적 변화를 겪게 되고 이후 타자에 대한 매혹과 공포를 동시에 느끼며 ‘아브젝시옹’의 과정을 겪지만 타자로부터 자신을 분리해내는 데 실패하게 된다. 두 가지 양상을 바탕으로 이승훈 시에서 타자 존재가 주체의 주체화 과정에 영향을 끼침을 알 수 있었다. 이어 Ⅲ장에서는 이승훈 시의 주체가 언어의 구조, 의미에 대한 새로운 해석을 통하여 시쓰기를 실천하며 탈근대적 주체로 구성되는 과정을 살펴보았다. 이승훈 시에서 주체는 일상을 ‘텍스트’로 읽고 쓰며 이를 배치하는 과정을 통하여 텍스트로부터 구성되고 해체되는 ‘해체적 주체’가 되었다. 또한 주체는 육체적 에너지와 정동을 ‘기호계적 언어’로 표현해내는 일을 통하여 끊임없이 변화하는 과정에서 구성되고 해체되는 ‘과정으로서의 주체’가 되었다. 두 가지 양상을 바탕으로 이승훈 시에서 언어와 시쓰기가 주체가 탈근대적 주체로 구성되는 데 영향을 끼침을 알 수 있었다. 마지막으로 Ⅳ장에서는 이승훈이 타자와 언어를 통하여 능동적으로 주체를 구성해보려는 실험을 시도하고, 운동성을 지닌 주체의 시쓰기를 통하여 시의 의미를 확장해 나가는 과정을 살펴보았다. 이승훈은 ‘차연’의 운동성을 지닌 주체를 구성해내고 이로부터 시쓰기를 실천하여 ‘시적 의미 작용의 놀이’를 구현해냈다. 또한 이승훈은 ‘부정성’의 운동성을 지닌 주체를 구성해내고 이로부터 시쓰기를 실천하여 ‘시적 의미 정립의 교란’을 구현해냈다. 두 가지 양상을 바탕으로 이승훈 시의 주체가 타자와 언어의 영향으로 구성될 뿐 아니라, 이승훈의 능동적인 시적 실험을 통하여 탄생했음을 알 수 있었다. 결과적으로, 탈근대 주체이론을 경유하며 구상했던 이승훈의 새로운 주체가 그의 시쓰기를 통해 구현되었음을 확인하였다. 본 논문이 이승훈 시의 탈근대성 연구의 외연을 넓히고, 이승훈 시에 대한 해석적 가능성을 확대할 수 있기를 바란다. ;The purpose of this study is to examine the aspect of the postmodern subject appearing in Lee Seung-hoon’s poetry through the philosophical theories of Jacques Derrida and Julia Kristeva. In this regard, this paper investigates the Lee Seung-hoon’s poetry in three aspects: the process of perception of others and failure of subjectivation, the acceptance of a new language and the composition of the postmodern subject, and the implementation of the poetry’s meaning expansion through the subject composition experiment. Chapter 2 goes over how the subject from Lee Seung-hoon’s poetry recognizes others and interacts with others, and the subject of poetry fails to elevate themselves from the pre-subject stage to the subject. Chapter 3 looks through the procedure that how the subject from Lee Seung-hoon’s poetry is constructed to post-modern subject beings by accepting the new analyses on the structure and meaning of language. Chapter 4 examines the subject composition experiment through the others and language and reveals that the writings by mobilized subject expand the meaning of poetry. In conclusion, this study has shown that Lee Seung-hoon’s new subject, composed by him with the postmodern subject theories, has embodied in his writing of poetry.
