노래 만들기 중재를 통한 인공와우이식청소년의 자기표현 능력 향상 사례

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 인공와우이식자에게 음악을 통한 성공적인 경험 및 성취감을 제공하는 노래 만들기 중재 프로그램이 인공와우이식청소년의 자기표현 능력 향상을 가져오는지 알아보기 위한 사례연구이다. 본 연구에는 연구 참여기준과 제외기준을 충족하고 본인 및 보호자가의 동의를 획득한 2명의 인공와우이식청소년이 참여하였다. 연구절차는 사전검사, 중재, 사후검사를 포함하여 총 8주동안 진행되었고 회기 당 40-50분씩 주 1회 수행되었다. 성공적인 노래 만들기 수행을 위해 인공와우이식에 따른 음악적 지각 특성을 고려하여 중재가 단계별로 제공되었다. 사전에는 인공와우이식청소년에게 김희화(1998)의 자아존중감 척도와 로젠버그 자존감 척도(RSES)를 검사 및 음악 선호에 대한 설문을 통해 대상자의 심리정서상태 및 음악 선호를 파악하였다. 결과분석은 노래 만들기 과정 중 변화 양상이 중요함에 따라 언어적 ․ 비언어적 행동과 음악적 반응의 변화를 서술하였다. 연구 결과 모든 대상자들의 노래 만들기 언어적 ․ 비언어적 ․ 음악적 행동에서 자기표현의 변화에서도 확인할 수 있었다. 결과적으로 노래 만들기 프로그램은 연구에 참여한 인공와우이식청소년의 자기표현 능력의 향상을 가져왔다. 이러한 결과는 노래 만들기 중재에 초기 청소년기의 인공와우이식청소년의 심리적 특성과, 인공와우이식에 따른 청각적 특징을 반영 및 적용하고, 청각의 어려움에서 비롯된 심리사회적 문제를 음악을 통해 성공적인 경험 및 긍정적인 경험으로 변화시켜 성취감의 경험을 도와 자기표현의 긍정적인 변화를 유도할 수 있었으며, 더 나아가 노래 만들기가 인공와우이식자의 심리사회적 어려움을 돕는 중재 방안으로 지속적인 연구가 필요함을 시사한다. ;The purpose of this study is to enhancing the self-expression of cochlear implants by song writing intervention that provide a successful musical experience and achievement. Two cochlear implant adolescents were recruited for the study and it took 8 weeks including pre-test, intervention, and post-test. The intervention was performed once a week for 40-50 minutes per session. It was provided step by step considering the musical perception characteristics of cochlear implantation for successful music production. The results of the study described the meaningful verbal and nonverbal changes related to self- expression during the intervention, and described the musical response and output according to self-expression. The results showed that the self-expression increased. It was also confirmed by changes in musical behavior. As a result, the song writing intervention has resulted in improving the self-expression of the cochlear implant adolescents participating in the research. These results suggest song writing intervention is necessary to be applied and reflected according to psychological characteristics and cochelar implant in early adolescence.
