프로젝트학습을 적용한 음악 만들기 활동이 지역아동센터 아동의 음악적 창의성에 미치는 영향

Abstract

본 연구는 프로젝트학습을 적용한 음악 만들기 활동이 지역아동센터 아동의 음악적 창의성에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 경기도 평택시에 소재한 D지역아동센터의 초등학교 4~6학년 25명을 대상으로 연구를 실시하였으며, 2018년 1월부터 8차시에 걸쳐 구안된 프로젝트학습을 적용하여 음악 만들기 활동프로그램을 진행하였다. 프로젝트학습을 적용한 음악 만들기 활동이 음악적 창의성에 미치는 영향을 검증하기 위해 웹스터의 음악적 창의성 검사도구인 MCTM-II를 활용하여 학생들의 음악적 창의성 정도를 측정하여 양적 분석하였으며, 연구자가 작성한 매 차시의 수업 관찰일지, 학생들의 활동지, 그리고 연구자가 무작위로 선정한 학생 6명의 개별심층면담을 통해 질적 분석을 실시하였다. 이를 종합한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 프로젝트학습을 적용한 음악 프로그램에 참여한 학생들은 자신이 가진 음악적 아이디어를 자유롭게 산출하며 음악적 융통성이 향상되었다. 둘째, 프로젝트학습을 적용한 음악 프로그램에 참여한 학생들은 음악을 대하는 태도가 긍정적으로 변화하면서 음악적 지속성이 향상되었다. 셋째, 프로젝트학습을 적용한 음악 프로그램에 참여한 학생들은 자신만의 새로운 음악적 아이디어를 산출하며 음악적 독창성이 향상되었다. 넷째, 프로젝트학습을 적용한 음악 프로그램에 참여한 학생들은 음악의 전체적인 구성과 느낌에 관련된 음악적 구문력이 향상되었다. 이와 같은 연구의 결과는 프로젝트학습을 적용한 음악 만들기 활동이 지역아동센터 아동들의 음악적 창의성 향상에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 사실을 입증하고 있다. 본 연구는 프로젝트학습을 구성하는 팀 활동과 개별 활동의 상호작용을 음악 만들기 활동프로그램에 적용함으로 지역아동센터 아동들의 음악적 창의성을 향상시키는데 의의가 있다. 따라서 본연구의 결과에 따라 지역아동센터 아동들의 창의성 발달을 위한 다양한 음악프로그램이 더욱 활성화되어 지역아동센터 아동들의 적극적인 참여로 그들의 창의성 발달과 지역아동센터의 음악프로그램 개발을 위한 기초자료로서 도움이 되기를 바란다.;The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of music creating activities that applied project learning on the musical creativity of children in local children center. For this purpose, the study was conducted on 25 children of the 4th to 6th grade in the elementary school of the local children center in region D located in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi-do. From January, 2018, the study conducted a music making activity program applying the project learning that was planned over 8 times. In order to verify the effect of music creating activities applying project learning on musical creativity, quantitative analysis using MCTM-II which is a Webster's musical creativity test tool was conducted. The results of the qualitative analysis of each student's in-class observation log, the activities record of the students, the outcome of the lesson, and the in-depth interviews of the students randomly selected by the researcher were as follows. First, the students who participated in the music program applying project learning freely express their musical ideas and Musical Flexibility was improved. Second, the students who participated in the music program applying project learning improved the Musical Extensiveness as the attitude of music changed positively. Third, the students who participated in the music program applying project learning improved their Musical Originality by expressing their new musical ideas. Fourth, the students who participated in the music program applying project learning improved Musical Syntax related to the overall composition and feel of the music. The results of this study demonstrate that music making activities using project learning have a positive effect on improving the musical creativity of local children's center children. The purpose of this study is to improve the musical creativity of local children center children by applying the interaction between team activities and individual activities that constitute project learning to the music making activity program. The results of this study suggest that the development of children's creativity in local children's centers will be more active in various music programs and will be helpful for the development of their creativity and the development of music programs at local children's centers through the active involvement of children at local children's centers.
