Abstract

본 논문은 필자의 석사과정 이수를 위한 졸업연주회 프로그램에 대한 연구이다. 본 논문에서 다룰 내용은 안토니오 비발디(Antonio Lucio Vivaldi, 1678-1741), 프란츠 리스트(Franz Liszt, 1811-1886), 세르게이 라흐마니노프(Sergei Rachmaninoff, 1873-1943)의 작품들로 이탈리아, 프랑스, 러시아 총 3개의 언어로 구성되어 있다. 이들은 바로크부터 20세기까지 다양한 시대에 살았던 작곡가들로 이들의 생애와 음악적 특징을 살펴보기로 한다. 연구를 통해 각 작곡가의 작품을 이해하여 더 나은 연주를 하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 비발디는 바로크 시대의 대표적인 작곡가로써 18세기 초 이탈리아의 베네치아에서 활동하였다. 그의 작품들 중에서 오페라 『바자제트(Bajazet) RV 703』의 극 중 아리아「나는 멸시받는 신부(Sposa son disprezzata)」를 통해 화성의 변화를 중심으로 인물의 감정과 가사의 내용에 따라 변화하는 음악적 표현과 이 곡에 나타난 다카포 아리아의 형식에 대해 살펴보고자 한다. 리스트는 낭만주의 시대의 대표적인 헝가리 작곡가로써 교향시의 창시자이며 19세기 최고의 피아니스트였다. 그의 작품들 중에서 빅토르 위고(Victor Hugo, 1802-1885)의 시에 의한 7개의 가곡 중 4곡「만약 매력적인 잔디밭이 있다면(S'il est un charmant gazon)」,「내가 만약 왕이라면(Enfant, si j'étais Roi)」,「그가 말하길, 어떻게?(Comment, disaient-ils)」,「오! 내가 잠들었을 때(Oh! Quand je dors)」을 통해 음악과 시를 어떻게 결합시켰는지 작시법적으로 살펴보고자 한다. 라흐마니노프는 러시아를 대표하는 20세기 초기의 위대한 피아니스트이자 후기 낭만파의 대표적인 작곡가였다. 『노래와 피아노를 위한 여섯 곡의 가곡, Six Songs for voice and piano Op.38』는 그의 가곡집들 중에서 가장 마지막에 작곡되었다. 본 논문에서는 세 번째 곡「데이지 꽃(Маргаритки)」과 네 번째 곡「쥐잡이꾼(Крысолов)」를 중심으로 가사의 내용에 따른 조성의 변화와 화성을 통해 그의 음악적 표현에 대해 살펴보고자 한다.;This thesis is a study on the graduation concert program for the completion of writer’s masters degree. The thesis will be studying the works of Antonio Lucio Vivaldi (1678-1741), Franz Liszt, (1811-1886), and Sergei Rachmaninoff (1873-1943) and is consisted of 3 different languages – Italian, French and Russian. As these three composers lived in different periods from Baroque all the way to 20th century, we will study the biography and musical characteristics. the works of each composers through the research, and eventually perform better. Vivaldi, a composer representing the Baroque period, was active in Venice Italy in early 18th century. We will study one of his works which is the aria「Sposa son disprezzata」in opera 『Bajazet RV 703』, and discover the characteristic of operatic aria in the Baroque period. Liszt, a Hungarian composer representing Romanticism, is the founder of the symphonic poem and the best pianist in 19th century. We will study 4 songs out of his 7 songs affected by the poems of Victor Hugo (1802-1885) - 「S'il est un charmant gazon」, 「Enfant, si j'étais Roi」,「Comment, disaient-ils」,「Oh! Quand je dors」- and discover how he combined the music and the poem in the aspect of versification. Rachmaninoff, the one of the greatest pianist of 20th century from Russia, is a composer representing the music of post-romanticism. 『Six Songs for voice and piano Op.38』was the last song composed among his collection of songs. This thesis will cover the third song「Маргаритки」and the fourth song「Крысолов」and study his musical characteristics.
