개인화서비스 제공을 위한 모바일 입력 폼 개선 연구

Abstract

스마트폰 대중화 시대에 언제 어디서나 편리하게 이용할 수 있는 모바일 애플리케이션이 활성화된 요즘, 개인화서비스를 제공하는 애플리케이션은 계속해서 등장하고 있다. 개인화서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 사용자의 정보 수집은 필수적이다. 새롭게 등장하는 애플리케이션은 모바일 환경에 적합한 인터페이스로 맞춰가고 있지만 아직까지 정보 수집을 위한 입력 폼은 세부적인 개선이 미흡하다. 또한 구체적인 모바일 환경의 입력 폼에 대한 연구는 전무한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 개인화서비스를 기획하고 개발하는데 지침으로 반영할 수 있는 모바일 폼 가이드라인을 제안하고 기존 애플리케이션의 입력 폼 항목을 바탕으로 프로토타입을 제작하여 가이드라인이 사용자에게 긍정적인 영향을 미치는지 검증하려고 한다. 연구의 프로세스는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 문헌 조사를 통하여 모바일 인터페이스의 특성과 모바일 폼에 대한 특징을 알아보았으며 그 결과 PC의 환경과 많은 차이가 있어 모바일 폼 디자인의 중요성을 인지할 수 있었다. 이에 따라 해외 UX전문가의 모바일 폼 관련 가이드라인을 조사하여 정리하였다. 둘째, 사전 설문조사를 통해 개인화서비스를 제공하는 국내 취업포털 애플리케이션의 사용자 인식과 요구사항을 파악할 수 있었다. 분석 결과, 입력 폼 개선의 필요성을 재고할 수 있었다. 또한 조사한 가이드라인을 전문가 검증을 통해 수정, 보완하였다. 셋째, 국내 취업포털 애플리케이션 사례들을 선정하여 가이드라인을 활용한 분석 및 기회 요소를 도출하였다. 또한 개인화서비스를 제공하는 해외 애플리케이션 사례들을 분석 후 특징을 바탕으로 최종 가이드라인을 도출하였다. 넷째, 기존 서비스의 입력 폼 항목을 바탕으로 최종 가이드라인을 반영하는 프로토타입을 제작하고 모바일 폼 가이드라인이 실질적으로 유효한지 검증하기 위해 사용성 평가를 실시하였다. 그 결과 가이드라인이 반영된 입력 폼은 사용자들에게 부담을 주지않는다는 긍정적인 평가를 받았다. 이후 평가를 통해 받은 의견을 반영하여 프로토타입을 개선하였다. 본 연구는 개인화서비스 사용자가 자신에게 맞는 적합한 추천 정보를 제공받음으로써 모바일 서비스에 대한 사용자 만족을 이끌어내는 것이 궁극적인 목표이며, 이를 위해 모바일 환경에서 사용자가 부담을 갖지 않고 입력 절차를 완료할 수 있도록 유도하는 것에 의의가 있다.;With the recent vitalization of mobile application that could be conveniently used anytime and anywhere in the smartphone popularization era, the applications providing the personalized service are continuously appearing. To provide the personalized service, the collection of users’ information is essential. Even though such newly-appearing applications are adjusting themselves to the interface suitable for the mobile environment, still, it is required to improve the detailed input form for data collection. Also, it is rare to find the researches on the input form of the concrete mobile environment. Thus, this study aims to verify that the guidelines have a positive impact on users by producing a prototype based on the input form items of the existing application after suggesting the mobile form guidelines that could be reflected in the planning/development of personalized service. The research process is as follows. First, in the results of understanding the characteristics of mobile interface and mobile form through literature study, the importance of mobile form design could be realized as there were lots of differences from PC environment. Thus, the mobile form-relevant guidelines by a foreign UX expert were researched and summarized. Second, through the preliminary survey, the perception and needs of users of domestic employment portal application providing the personalized service could be understood. In the results of analysis, the necessity of the improvement of input form could be reconsidered. Also, the researched guidelines were modified/complemented through the verification by experts. Third, the opportunity elements were drawn through the analysis of guidelines by selecting the cases of domestic employment portal application. Also, after analyzing the cases of foreign application providing the personalized service, based on the characteristics, the final guidelines were drawn. Fourth, in order to verify the actual effectiveness of the mobile form guidelines after producing a prototype reflecting the final guidelines based on the input form items of the existing service, the usability evaluation was conducted. In the results, the input form reflecting the guidelines received the positive evaluation of not giving any pressure to users. After that, the prototype was improved by reflecting the opinions shown in the evaluation. The ultimate purpose of this study is to draw the satisfaction as the personalized service users receive the suitable recommendation information. The significance of this study is to induce users to complete the input procedure without feeling pressure.
