웹스터의 창의적 음악사고 모형을 적용한 창작 음악프로그램이 지역아동센터 아동의 사회성과 자기표현력에 미치는 영향

Abstract

본 연구는 웹스터의 창의적 음악사고 모형을 적용한 창작 음악프로그램이 지역아동센터 아동의 사회성과 자기표현력에 미치는 영향을 파악하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이러한 연구의 목적을 위해 경기도 부천시에 소재한 S지역아동센터의 아동 13명을 대상으로 질적 연구를 실시하였으며 참여관찰, 면담, 성찰저널을 연구 도구로 사용하였다. 연구 방법을 통해 얻은 자료는 크레스웰(Creswell, 2015)이 제시한 나선형 자료 분석 방법에 따라 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 창작 음악프로그램에 참여한 연구 대상자들은 과제를 수행하는데 어려워하거나 힘들어 하는 친구들을 도와주었으며 함께 공동의 과제를 해결하려는 특성이 향상되었다. 둘째, 창작 음악프로그램에 참여한 연구 대상자들은 적극적인 자세로 활동에 참여하였고, 주어진 과제를 성실히 수행하는 의지가 향상되었다. 반면 수업의 흐름에 따라 동료영향에 의해 과제를 성실히 수행하지 않은 아동도 있었다. 셋째, 창작 음악프로그램에 참여한 연구 대상자들은 자신의 감정을 적절하게 표현하고 의견을 분명하게 이야기하는 능력이 향상되었다. 반면 자신의 감정과 의견을 분명하게 이야기는 하였지만 상대방에게 불쾌감 주며 상대방을 존중하지 않는 특성을 보인 아동도 있었다. 넷째, 창작 음악프로그램에 참여한 연구 대상자들은 음악으로 자신을 표현하며 즐기는 자세가 향상되었다. 이와 같은 결과로 웹스터의 창의적 음악사고 모형을 적용한 창작 음악프로그램이 지역아동센터 아동의 사회성과 자기표현력에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 웹스터의 창의적 음악사고 과정 요인을 연구대상자들의 특성에 따라 세분화시켜 창작 음악프로그램에 적용함으로써 지역아동센터 아동의 사회성과 자기표현력을 향상시키는데 교육적인 의의가 있다. 본 연구를 통해 웹스터의 창의적 음악사고 모형을 적용한 창작 음악프로그램이 다양한 레퍼토리로 확대되어 문화적으로 소외된 아동들이 보다 다양한 음악창작 경험을 누릴 수 있기를 기대한다.;The purpose of the study is to investigate the effect of creative music program applying Webster's creative musical thinking model on the sociality and self-expression of children in children's community center. For the purpose of this study, qualitative research on 13 children of S district children's community center in Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do was carried out, and participant observation, interview, and reflection journal were used as research tools. The data obtained through the research method were analyzed according to the spiral data analysis method proposed by Creswell (2015). The results of this study are summarized as follows. First of all, the participants who experienced the creative music program helped their friends who had difficulty or found difficult to perform the tasks during the class, and the tendency to work on cooperative task was improved. Secondly, as the class progressed, the research participants who had experienced the creative music program participated actively in the given activities, and their will to sincerely perform the given task was improved. On the other hand, there were children who did not faithfully perform the task due to the influence of peers as the class progressed. Thirdly, as the class progressed, the participants who had experienced the creative music program improved their ability to express their feelings appropriately and to express opinions clearly. On the other hand, there were children who expressed their feelings and opinions clearly, however gave unpleasant feelings to the others and did not respect them. Lastly, as the class progressed, the participants who had experienced the creative music program showed improved attitude in expressing themselves with music. The result from this study confirms that the creative music program applying Webster's creative musical thinking model positively influences the sociality and self-expression of the children in children's community center. This study is significant in educational aspect as the purpose of the study is to improve the sociality and self-expression of the children in children's community center by applying Webster's creative musical thinking process factor to the creative music program by subdividing enabling skills and enabling conditions depending on the research subjects. Through this study, it is expected that the creative music program applying Webster's creative musical thinking model would be expanded into various repertoire, thus culturally marginalized children could enjoy and enlarge their experience in various music creating activities.
