국내 여성 대상 심리정서 지원을 위한 음악치료 연구 분석

Abstract

본 연구는 여성의 심리정서 지원을 목적으로 진행된 국내 음악치료 연구를 여성주의 관점 음악치료의 특성에 따라 분석하기 위해 실시되었다. 2000년 1월 이후 국내 전문학술지에 게재된 연구를 대상으로 하여 학술검색엔진에서 여성과 음악치료, 심리정서 관련 주제어를 조합하여 검색하였고, 논문의 제목과 초록 및 본문 내용 확인을 통해 34개의 논문을 선정하였다. 연구 대상의 연도별 현황을 비롯한 연구의 일반적 특성, 치료 목표, 음악 중재 방법의 분석을 진행하였고, 여성주의 관점 음악치료의 특성에 따라 연구 대상과 중재 내용을 분석하였다. 연구 결과를 살펴보면, 먼저 연구 대상은 과거 정신 질환 여성을 중심으로 이루어졌던 것에 반해 최근에는 현시대의 사회 문제를 반영하여 직장 여성, 결혼 이주여성, 유학생 등으로 다양하게 이루어진 것을 볼 수 있다. 치료 목표는 우울, 불안, 스트레스와 같은 심리 관련 요인이 가장 빈번하게 설정되었고, 음악 중재 기법은 노래 중심 활동과 연주 활동, 감상 활동이 복합적으로 사용되는 것으로 나타났다. 여성주의 관점 음악치료의 특성에 따라 내적 역량 강화(empowerment), 사회 정치적 관점, 치료 협력, 평등주의, 다양성으로 분류하여 연구를 분석한 결과, 연구 대상은 사회 정치적 관점이 반영된 연구가 가장 많았으며 중재 내용은 여성의 내적 역량 강화를 중요하게 다룬 연구가 가장 많은 것으로 확인되었다. 음악치료 중재에서 여성들의 내적 역량 강화를 통해 심리 문제를 해결하고, 이를 바탕으로 하여 사회 변화를 이끌어 내는 것이 중요하다는 결과이다. 추후 국내 여성 대상 음악치료 연구에서는 사회 내 성차별 및 성역할에 대한 탐색과 치료 안팎의 협력을 통해 여성 개인의 변화뿐만 아니라 나아가 사회 변화를 이룰 수 있는 방향을 모색해야 할 것이다. 본 연구는 여성주의 관점 음악치료가 국내 여성 대상 음악치료 임상 및 연구에 적용되어야 하며, 관련 프로그램의 개발이 필요함을 제안하는데 의의가 있다.;This study was conducted to analyze the music therapy study in Korea, which was conducted for the purpose of supporting women’s psychological and emotional according to the characteristics of the feminist perspective in music therapy. The women and music therapy, keyword related to the psychology and emotion were searched on the academic search engine targeting the study posted on the professional academic journal in Korea after January, 2000, and 34 theses were selected by confirming the title of thesis, abstract, and body content. The general characteristic of the study including the year-status of the subject, therapy purpose, and music arbitration method were analyzed, and the subject and the arbitration content were analyzed according to the characteristics of the feminist perspective in music therapy. To look at the study result, while the subjects were selected focusing on the women with mental disease in the past, recently subjects are selected diversely focusing on the career women, marriage migration women, and students studying abroad by reflecting the contemporary social issues. When it comes to the therapy goal, the psychology-related factors such as the depression, anxiety, and stress were set most frequently and when it comes to the music arbitration technique, it was revealed that the song-oriented activity, performance activity, and appreciation activity were used complexly. As a result of analyzing the study by classifying into the empowerment, social and political perspective, cooperative therapy, egalitarianism, and diversity according to the characteristics of the feminist perspective in music therapy, it was confirmed that the number of the studies reflecting the social and political viewpoint was biggest with regard to the subject, and the number of studies dealing with the women’s empowerment importantly was biggest with regard to the arbitration content. It implies it is important to solve the psychological problem through the women’s empowerment in the music therapy arbitration, and derive the social change based on this. In the future music therapy study targeting women in Korea, it is necessary to seek a direction for bringing on the social change as well as women’s individual change through the exploration on the sexual discrimination or sexual role in the society and the cooperation inside and outside the therapy. This study is significant in having suggested that the feminist perspective in music therapy should be applied to the clinical test and study of the music therapy targeting women in Korea, and it was necessary to develop the relevant program.
