상호문화 관점에서의 한국어 교사 대상 문화교육 방안 연구

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the cultural education of Korean language teachers as Korean culture class should be operated from the perspective of Intercultural because the cultural backgrounds of Korean language learners become diversified. For this purpose, the Intercultural education method focusing on food culture was researched in terms of refreshment training of experienced Korean language teachers. In chapter Ⅰ, the necessity and purpose of Intercultural education for experienced Korean language teachers were specified and food culture was selected among various Korean culture items for cultural education from the Intercultural perspective. In Chapter Ⅱ, the theoretical discussions on Intercultural education were reviewed through the characteristics, goals and curriculum of Intercultural education, and it was confirmed that the ultimate goal of Intercultural education is the growth of Intercultural ability. In order to establish the direction of Intercultural education for Korean language teachers, previous studies related to culture in Korean language education, culture education for teachers, and food culture education were reviewed. In Chapter Ⅲ, the objectives, contents, and directions of education were discussed in order to construct concrete Intercultural education data focusing on food culture. In addition, the direction of the Intercultural education teaching plan for experienced Korean language teachers was set taking what this study derives as factors of Intercultural abilities, such as cultural understanding, cultural comparison, cultural relativization, cultural empathy and cultural communication, culture mediation, as core elements. In Chapter Ⅳ, Intercultural teaching plans for experienced Korean language teachers utilizing food culture were presented. They are structured applying cognitive, affective, and behavioral aspects of food culture equally. In addition, teaching plans for seven units were prepared so that experienced Korean language teachers could carry out active teaching based on their educational and cultural experiences. This study is significant, in that it emphasizes the Intercultural qualities of Korean language teachers and suggests Intercultural education methods to achieve intercultural exchange. It is expected that this study will increase interest in Intercultural education and refreshment education of experienced Korean language teachers.;본 연구는 한국어 학습자의 문화적 배경이 다양해짐에 따라 한국어 문화 수업이 상호문화적인 관점에서 운영되어야 한다고 보고 한국어 교사 대상의 문화교육을 연구하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 한국어 경력 교사의 재교육 측면에서 식생활 문화를 중심으로 한 상호문화교육의 방안을 연구하였다. Ⅰ장에서는 한국어 경력 교사를 대상으로 하는 상호문화교육의 필요성과 목적을 밝히고 상호문화 관점을 적용한 문화 교육을 위해 다양한 한국 문화의 항목 중 식생활 문화를 선정하였다. Ⅱ장에서는 상호문화교육의 특징과 목표 및 교육과정을 통해 상호문화교육에 대한 이론적 논의를 살펴보았으며 상호문화교육의 궁극적인 목표가 상호문화능력의 신장에 있음을 확인하였다. 또한 한국어 교사를 대상으로 하는 상호문화교육의 방향을 마련하고자 한국어 교육에서의 문화와 교사 대상 문화교육 그리고 식생활 문화교육에 관련된 선행 연구를 고찰하였다. Ⅲ장에서는 식생활 문화를 중심으로 하는 구체적인 상호문화교육 자료를 구성하기 위해 교육의 목표, 내용, 방법의 방향을 논의하였다. 그리고 본 연구에서 상호문화능력의 요인으로 도출한 문화 이해, 문화 비교, 문화 상대화, 문화 공감, 문화 의사소통, 문화 중개를 핵심 요소로 하여 한국어 경력 교사를 위한 상호문화교육 교안의 구성 방향을 설정하였다. Ⅳ장에서는 식생활 문화를 활용한 한국어 경력 교사 대상의 상호문화교육 교안을 제시하였다. 본 교안은 상호문화 관점에서 식생활 문화에 대해 인지적, 정의적, 행동적 측면의 교육이 고르게 적용될 수 있도록 구성하였다. 또한 한국어 경력 교사의 교육적·문화적 경험을 바탕으로 능동적인 문화수업이 이루어지도록 총 7차시의 교안을 작성하였다. 본 연구는 한국어 교사의 상호문화 자질을 강조하고 문화 간 교류를 이룰 수 있는 상호문화교육 방안을 연구하여 제시한 점에서 의의가 있다. 본 연구를 통해 한국어 교사의 상호문화교육 및 재교육에 대한 관심이 높아지기를 기대하며 관련된 후속 연구에도 도움이 되길 바란다.
