Abstract

This research is based on the present writer's Master graduation performance about Sonata in e minor for Flute and Basso Continuo, BWV. 1034 of Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750), Sonata for Flute and Piano No.3 in G Major from Philippe Gaubert (1879-1941), 30 Studies for Flute Solo, Op. 107 No. 30 "Chaconne" from Sigfrid Karg-Elert (1877-1933), and Chante de Linos for Flute and Piano from André Jolivet (1905-1974). The exact year of composition is unknown, however, German composer Johann Sebastian Bach wrote Sonata in e minor for Flute and Basso Continuo, BWV. 1034 during his years as the member of orchestra in Köthen, while he was passionately composing numbers of instrumental piece; this piece, flute sonata was written in a form of church sonata. Philippe Gaubert was written Sonata for Flute and Piano No.3 in G Major in 1933, the last of his pieces among flute sonata. With formation of classics era, this piece has renowned for coexist characteristics of Romantism and Impressionism. Sigfrid Karg-Elert wrote 30 Studies for Flute Solo, Op. 107 No. 30 "Chaconne" for two years(1918-1919) for his old friend from military, a Flute player. This is still one of the beloved selections among flutist, frequently recognized as a set piece of music competition at home and abroad. In a form of Chaconne in Baroque Era is significant characteristic of this piece. André Jolivet wrote " Chant de Linos" for Flute and Piano in 1944, just for music competition, hold by Conservatoire de Paris. Later it is occasionally played after arrangement for chamber music, mainly for flute, violin, viola, cello and harp. From the ancient Greek myth of national hero Heracles and his music teacher Linos, 50 Andr Jolivet had inspiration of his music.;본 논문은 본 연구자의 석사과정 졸업연주회의 프로그램인 요한 세바스티안 바흐 (Johann Sebastian Bach, 1685-1750)의 Sonata in e minor for Flute and Basso Continuo, BWV. 1034, 필립 고베르(Philippe Gaubert, 1879-1941)의 Sonata for Flute and Piano No.3 in G Major, 지그프리트 칼겔러트 (Sigfird Karg-Elert, 1877-1933)의 30 Studies for Flute Solo, Op.107 No.30“Chaconne”그리고 앙드레 졸리베(André Jolivet, 1905-1974) 의“Chant de Linos”for Flute and Piano 에 대한 연구이다. 독일의 작곡가 요한 세바스티안 바흐의 Sonata in e minor for Flute and Basso Continuo, BWV. 1034는 정확한 작곡연도는 알 수 없으나 바흐의 쾨텐 궁정악장 재직시절 기악 곡을 활발히 작곡하던 때에 만들어진 플루트 소나타 젓 하나로, 교회 소나타 형식을 띄고 있다. 프랑스의 작곡가 필립 고베르의 Sonata for Flute and Piano No.3 in G Major는 1933년 도에 작곡되었고, 고베르의 플루트 소나타 젓 마지막으로 작곡 된 작품이다. 형식적으로는 고전시대의 형식을 사용했으며, 낭만주의적 특징과 인상주의적 특징이 공존하는 시대적 특 징이 잘 드러나는 곡이다. 독일의 작곡가 지그프리트 칼겔러트의 30 Studies for Flute Solo, Op. 107 No. 30 "Chaconne"는 1918년도에서 1919년도에 걸쳐 작곡된 곡이며 그의 군대 시절 알게 된 플루티스트 친구를 위해 쓰여진 곡이다. 현재에도 플루트 연주자들에게 널리 연주되 는 곡으로 각종 국내, 국외 콩쿠르 과제곡으로 심심치 않게 찾아볼 수 있다. 바로크 시대의 샤콘느 형식으로 쓰여진 것이 가장 큰 특징이다. 프랑스의 작곡가 앙드레 졸리베의“Chant de Linos”for Flute and Piano는 1944년 파 리 고등 국립 음악원의 대회를 위해 작곡된 곡이며 후에 플루트, 바이올린, 비올라, 첼로 그리고 하프를 위한 실내악 작품으로도 편곡이 되어 종종 연주되고 있다. 위 작 품은 그리스 신화에서 등장하는 영웅 헤라클레스와 그의 음악 스승인 리노스의 이야 기를 배경으로 만들어진 작품이다.
