한국대중가요의 인기도에 따른 노래 가사 분석

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the public's interest, consideration and the psychosocial factors of the period by analyzing the lyrics of Korean popular songs by popularity. To do this, we selected 100 songs each year from 2001 to 2015, a total of 1,500.Defined the categorical standard for each topics, then analyzed each songs based on the topics. According to the analyses results, 708 songs(47.2%) were related to the loving relationships between men and women and 542 songs(36.1%)are about the past love. These two topics agreed with the trends of preceding research. However, lower-level step materials have been varied, and the psychological emotion has been more stimulative. Furthermore, the sexual topics have been more explicitly expressed also with increased frequency. The topics not relating to love is expressed in the 243 songs(16.2%). Specifically, 29songs(5.8%) with self-expression have been increased to 32songs(6.4%), 11songs(2.2%) handling pleasures have been increased from 4songs(2.2%) and the theme about criticism of reality has been increased from 6songs(1.2%) to 13songs(2.6%). However, the themes involving hopes have been falling from 18songs(3.6%) to 10 songs(2%).These changes reflects the experience of frustration, being pessimistic and escaping reality, rather than dreaming of hope. Unlike pre 2000's, themes with family, friend, war and patriotism were largely decreased in its frequency and the scope was narrowed down to friends or parents. This reflects the changes of the sociocultural backgrounds and the shift of the public's interest. In conclusion, we look through public's general idea or psychosocial factors by analyzing popular songs. Since popular songs has been widely utilized in music therapy field, lyrics analysis can catalyze deeper understandings of patients. Furthermore, continuous research is needed to help better understand both past and present.;한국대중가요의 인기도에 따른 노래 가사 분석을 통해 대중의 관심이나 생각을 살펴보고 그 안에 내재되어 있는 심리사회적 요인을 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위해 2001년부터 2015년까지 매 년 100곡씩 총 1500곡을 선정하였고 각 주제에 대한 범주기준을 정의내린 후 주제별로 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 남녀애정관계와 관련된 주제는 708곡(47.2%), 과거의 애정관계는 542곡(36.1%)로 이전 선행연구들의 경향을 따랐으나 주제에 대한 하위단계가 다양해졌고 표현되는 심리정서의 단계도 더 자극적으로 변하였으며, 성적인 주제도 직접적으로 표현되고 그 빈도 역시 증가하는 추세가 나타났다. 사랑 외의 관계적인 주제는 총243곡(16.2%)으로 자기표현과 관련된 주제는 29곡(5.8%)에서 32곡(6.4%), 쾌락과 관련된 주제는 4곡(0.8%)에서 11곡(2.2%), 현실비판과 관련된 주제는 6곡(1.2%)에서 13곡(2.6%)로 상승한 반면 희망과 관련된 주제는 18곡(3.6%)에서 10곡(2%)으로 감소하는 추세를 보였다. 이는 좌절을 더 경험하며 희망을 꿈꾸기보단 현실을 회피하거나 비판하는 모습이 반영된 것으로 보인다. 2000년대 이전과 달리 가족, 친구, 전쟁, 애국과 관련된 주제는 인기도에 따른 분석에서 나타나지 않았고 부모님, 친구라는 주제로 범위가 축소되었으며, 빈도수도 감소하였다. 이는 시대가 흐르며 사회문화적인 배경이 바뀌고 대중의 관심의 변화도 반영된 것이라고 볼 수 있다. 결론적으로 대중가요 가사 분석을 통해 대중의 보편적인 생각이나 관심을 통해 심리정서적인 요인들을 살펴볼 수 있었다. 또한, 대중가요가 임상현장에서 많이 활용되고 노래의 정서나 표현이 깊어진 만큼 가사도 자세하게 분석한다면 내담자를 더 이해할 수 있다. 나아가 과거와 현재를 이해하기 위해 지속적인 연구가 필요하다.
