음악치료 전공생의 실습 역량 요인 인식 및 활용도

Abstract

본 연구는 음악치료 전공생의 실습 역량 요인에 대한 인식 수준 및 활용 수준을 알아보는 것에 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 현재 음악치료 대학원에서 재학 중인 실습 과정에 있는 전공생 71명을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 설문 문항은 연구 참여자의 인적사항, 각 실습 역량 요인 인식 수준 및 활용 수준을 중심으로 구성되었다. 설문에 대한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 음악치료 전공생이 내담자의 치료적인 변화에 영향을 미치는 실습 역량 요인에 대한 인식 수준은 Likert 척도 4점 만점에서 라포형성이 평균 3.52점으로 가장 높았고, 역전이 경험이 평균 2.48점으로 가장 낮았다. 둘째, 음악치료 전공생의 내담자의 치료적인 변화에 영향을 미치는 실습 역량 요인을 활용하는 수준은 4점 만점에서 슈퍼비전 경험 평균 3.29점으로 가장 높았고, 역전이 경험은 평균 2.53점으로 가장 낮았다. 셋째, 음악치료 전공생의 임상 실습 단계에 따른 실습 역량 요인 활용 수준은 비언어기술에서 첫 학기 실습생과 세 번째 실습 단계 전공생 및 인턴 간에 유의미한 차이가 있었다(p<.05). 결론적으로 본 연구에서 음악치료 전공생이 인식하는 실습 역량 요인 및 활용 수준을 파악할 수 있었다. 특히, 라포형성, 슈퍼비전 경험, 비언어기술을 중심으로 하여 내담자의 긍정적인 변화에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 인식하고 있음을 알 수 있었던 반면, 역전이 경험 관리에 대한 어려움이 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이에 따라 실습 과정에서 요구되는 역량 강화를 위한 체계적인 임상 훈련에 대한 필요가 제기된다.;The purpose of this study is to explore the perception and application level of practicum competencies of music therapy students. A survey was conducted on 71 music therapy students currently in the clinical practice training. The questionnaires were composed of three categories: general information of the participant, the participant's perception for each practical competency, and the participant's application level of each practical competency. The results of this study indicated that, first, for the perception level for each practical competency, the average score of the 'rapport' was highest, the score being 3.52 out of a likert-type scale of 4, and the average score of 'experience of countertransference' was 2.48, which was the lowest. Secondly, for the application level of each practical competency as a therapeutic factor that influence the client, the average score of 'supervision experience' was 3.29, which was the highest of all, and the average score of 'experience of countertransference' was the lowest, which was 2.53 out of 4. Further analyses indicated that in the application level of nonverbal skills as a practical competency in the clinical training, there was a significant difference between the application level of the students in the first semester of clinical practice and those in their third semester and interns(p<.05). Overall this study highlights the perception and application levels of practical competencies of music therapy students. Specifically, the students perceived that competencies such as 'rapport', 'supervision experience', and 'nonverbal skills' were factors that influence the client in the session, but they also had difficulties in managing countertransference. These findings indicate that a more systematic clinical training is needed for strengthening practical competencies, pivotal in clinical practice.
