한국 목회자 사모를 위한 파트너십 교육

Abstract

한국 교회 내에 존재하는 여성에 대한 종속적인 이미지는 목회자 사모의 삶에 부정적인 영향을 준다. 여성에 대한 보이지 않는 억압과 불평등은 목회자 사모 스스로 주체적인 삶을 살아갈 수 없게 만들고 하나님과 파트너십의 부르심에도 응답하지 못하게 한다. 이러한 이유로 한국 교회 목회자 사모들은 사모의 역할에 많은 혼란과 어려움을 호소하고 있다. 또 수동적이고 종속적으로 주어지는 사모의 역할을 수행하면서 경험하게 되는 명확하지 않은 역할과 정체성 때문에 우울 및 스트레스, 신체적 증상과 같은 2차적인 어려움까지 겪고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 현재 한국교회의 목회자 사모의 역할에서 오는 문제와 갈등을 해결할 수 있는 새로운 교육이론을 제시함에 있다. 이를 통해 한국교회의 목회자 사모들의 온전한 인간화와 건강하고 성숙한 파트너십을 이루고자 한다. 이러한 목적을 이루기 위한 본 논문의 내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 서구 기독교와 한국 기독교 안에서 목회자 사모에 대한 역사적 고찰을 한다. 이를 통해 기독교 역사 안에서 목회자 사모는 어떠한 역할을 요구받았고 수행해 냈는지 분석하고 역사 속에서 목회자 사모들이 겪었던 어려움과 고통을 분석한다. 둘째, 현재 한국교회 안에서 겪고 있는 목회자 사모의 역할 갈등과 문제점에는 어떠한 것들이 있는지 살펴보고 이러한 갈등과 문제점의 근본적인 원인이 무엇인지 분석한다. 셋째, 레티 러셀(Letty M. Russell)의 파트너십 교육 이론을 통해 하나님과 파트너십을 이루고 다른 사람들과 파트너십을 이루는 것이 무엇인지 살펴본다. 러셀의 파트너십 교육 이론을 통해 한국교회 목회자 사모의 역할 문제와 갈등의 새로운 방안을 제시한다. 넷째, 레티 러셀의 파트너십 교육 이론을 한국교회의 목회자 사모의 역할 문제와 갈등에 적용하여 근본적인 목회자 사모의 역할의 문제와 갈등 원인을 찾고 그에 대한 새로운 목회자 사모의 역할 이론을 제시한다. 목회자 사모는 하나님의 형상을 따라 창조된 하나의 인격체다. 즉, 하나님과 다른 사람들과 동등한 관계로 파트너십에 초청된 존재이다. 하지만 동등한 인격체로 존중받지 못하는 목회자 사모의 현실이 지금의 목회자 사모의 역할 문제와 갈등을 가져왔다. 따라서 다시금 목회자 사모의 온전한 모습으로서 온전한 인간화와 파트너십이 회복 되어야한다. 온전히 하나님과 다른 사람들과 동등한 파트너십 관계가 회복 될 때에 목회자 사모의 지속적인 문제와 갈등은 해결 될 것이다.;This study aims to research the partnership of the pastors' wives for the new roles of Korean pastors' wives focused on the Letty M. Russell's partnership education. Thus far, the pastors' wives has been suppressed in Korean churches and subordinated by the males and churches. In such an environment, the roles of pastors' wives have brought a lot of difficulties and conflicts. However, Korean churches did not solve the fundamental problem of the pastors' wives but conducted a education, so the fundamental solution was difficult. Therefore, new education method was examined with determining fundamental cause to resolve the difficulty of the roles of pastors' wives. First, the problem and conflicts of the roles of pastors' wives was examined through the historical consideration on the pastors' wives. In the result, it has been confirmed that the role of pastors' wives has been carried out in a subordinate relationship by needs of the pastors as males and the churches. The subordinate position of the pastors' wives is the fundamental cause of the problems and conflicts of the pastors' wives roles in Korean churches. In order to resolve this problem fundamentally, it is judged that the pastors' wives should be regarded as an equivalent identity with partnership in the Korean churches. Therefore, the roles of pastors' wives and conflicts problems are examined through the Letty M. Russell's Growth in Partnership and process. To restore the roles of pastors' wives in Korean churches, a new roles education based on the Letty M. Russell's partnership education theory were suggested as follows. First, the pastors' wives conducted the whole humanization through the partnership with God. Second, it is proposed that the new ‘House of freedom’ should be longed for by the pastors' wives' individualization with the recovered identity. Third, they should be liberated from the image of the traditional pastors' wives through the spirituality of liberation so that they can be heroine of their lives through the communication. Fourth, they should be the strangers as the heroine of their lives dreaming of whole kingdom of God in the present age escaping from the traditional images. Fifth, they should help not only the pastors' wives themselves, but also others to live in the equivalent position as hero of their lives. This was made possible through the fulfillment of the role of fair hospitality to others. Sixth, they should have equivalent partnership with their husbands, pastors and minister together. Finally, through the formation of the Koinonia community, the Korean church as a whole has been honored in the image of God as well as the pastors' wives, and the relationship of partnership has been established. It was tried to fundamentally solve the problems and conflicts caused by the roles of pastors' wives through the education for new roles of pastors' wives. Through this, the problems and conflicts due to the roles of pastors' wives in Korean churches will be resolved and the roles of pastors' wives will be taken by more mature attitude.
