Abstract
The first "Off-On" type fluorescent probe for Au3+ is reported, in which rhodamine-alkyne derivative displayed highly selective fluorescence enhancement and "naked-eye" detection upon the addition of Au3+ at pH 7.4. © The Royal Society of Chemistry 2009.
