Ghana‘s women political representation is lower than that of Rwanda. An Eastern Africa with history of genocide, Rwanda has taken the lead globally with women accounting for 63.8 percent in their national parliament whereas Ghana, a West African country known to have democratic credentials records a meager 10.8 percent in women political participation. What has accounted for the remarkable differences in women political representation in the two countries? The study, based on a secondary data argues that government political will and change in culture brought the differences between the two countries.;가나 여성의 정치 참여는 르완다의 경우와 비교했을 때보다 상당히 낮은 편이다.
